This is a very useful workshop and many thanks for this. A humble suggestion for Tihomir: please beware of the intermittent "chuckles". As many others have noted, it's quite distracting.

I suppose on th-cam.com/video/VoSiIwkvuX0/w-d-xo.htmlsi=a4O3UFr4KpTZI0-b&t=4535 means workflow NOT started - then startWithSignal will lead to start Worfklow, and if already started - just act as Signal.
The author most likely meant this, it’s just a disclaimer.

i think doing workshop if we should assume that viewer will be in very start phase it will be good , i can not figure out sometime go to php code sometime directly jump other example other than greeting there should some kick start and should go step by step

Question: We are running the workflows and workers separately, can we actually have workers as one service and another service for workflow definitions alone?? Or they might still have a lot of common functionality and as a need (or recommended) that we keep them together ??

Workflow code and Activity code are run by Workers. You can keep Workflow Workers and Activity Workers separate (and at high scale, if they have different resource requirements, it may make sense to separate them), but starting out, it's simplest to put them together.
You usually separate Workers based on which task queue they're listening on (and it's fine to start out with everything on a single queue until you come across reasons to separate, like different resource requirements or multiple teams that want to deploy separately).

You guys need to redo this video, that laugh is distracting.

I do not comprehend why the presenter is laughing intermittently; it is very distracting, and if there is a joke somewhere, I am missing it.

i think the presenter has a tic. it is involuntary, and while it can be distracting it's worth trying to zone it out because they still have plenty to say.
