I'll seriously never understand why everyone in the comments on an Original video will be so angry. "Wow a talented athlete blending elements of two sports to fit his diverse riding styles, what a douche" like damn people who cares if he does a kick flip on the damn thing, he's doing some cool stuff on a board and he deserves some props. Ride what you like and respect someone for what they enjoy doing

You guys are awesome, every time I have a question you guys respond quickly. With in a day that way I'm always up to date. I always like your videos and subbed a while ago. Wish I could do more though you guys deserve it! Thanks again!

Connor Saur Hey Connor - we have a bunch of videos in the works, and since the Arbiter is very well loved among our team riders, it's most definitely on the list. Are you thinking about picking up an Arbiter 36?
Get some 1/8" or 1/4" shock riser or hard riser pads. If that doesn't fix it, harder bushings, because the wheel clearance is pretty good on this deck from what I can see.
Sam Garrison The Arbiter DK deck comes in at $119. You can set it up with something like Volante Checkers or Blood Orange Liam Morgans for the way you want to ride. What's your weight/height? Are you looking to pickup a new deck?
Colin X no sir, if you yourself as a person are "gay" no matter what you do or show anyone their first opinion is that it's gay lmao but nah if you're cool and present something cool on the table than shit it's cool as shit haha
Hey original, ever considered making a full wooden Apex deck? I got my arbiter dk and its sick, the apex dd 2015 will hopefully be my next board, but it would be sick if their was a cost effective apex.
Considered it? We've done it! The thing is that it's no where near as good. There is a reason street decks are $50, when you push it, and when you land off center / land wrong, you are going to break them. That's not a knock on the deck design its the facts of life for a wooden board. That's why the Apex is so special. You can land wrong all day and not bust it. That's important because landing a Treflip is a lot more difficult on a 40 inch LB. You WILL do it wrong... a bunch : )
How long do you think it will last and is it that easy for indoor parks I use to go to a place called Small Empire and, they were the best and they were the only place i had until they close down and do you really recommend this for tricks?
Right on, Travis! If you used to go to Small Empire, then you're probably located somewhere near our HQ in Newton, NJ, right? In which case, you should for sure come by and say hi to grab a board instead of ordering one online. The DK is similar in construction to a traditional skateboard, so like a skateboard, the durability is based on your ability to properly land tricks. You can also check out something like the Apex DiamondDrop, which is carbon reinforced, giving you a longer lifetime. Either of those boards are a good option for how you want to ride.
That board looks sick. I'm about 5ft8 and 140 pounds and i'm considering buying it. I'd like to try some tricks, mainly ollies, and I would also like to use it for cruising. Can you guys help me choose a set-up that would be good for me? Thanks!
Sounds like a great setup to me Joseph. My DK has Caliber 50s on it but if you are going to be doing more hills you could go to a 44 degree truck or there abouts. I like Volante Checkers as a combo with the DK and I think the shape works well coming over from a skate background (or just getting more into that side of skating). Bearings are sort of a pick your poison type deal, I have Cell Primes on my deck. As far as grip, the Full Black is more like street grip, RDVX is more for hills.
What is the best set up (trucks, wheels, bearings) so i can make a commute with friends/shred ramps/streets/skate parks and a bit of downhill and sliding?
What're some differences about the Apex 40 DD and the Arbier DK? They both are beastly boards and have tails to kick but im not sure as to why the DiamondDrop cost more than the Abiter. Which one should I get?
Eddy ReVibe There are a bunch of differences between the Apex DD and the Arbiter DK. The DD has a steeper concave (full drop) than the Arbiter DK. You are right in that you can do both freeride-freestyle with both boards, but the difference in price comes down to construction. Hey Fatima, if you're looking for a board for purely cruising, picking up the Pintail is going to be your best option. What's your weight/height? The Pintail 40 is one of our most popular boards. You can check out videos and photos of it on our website: originalskateboards.com/longboards/pintail-40-longboard
Hi guys.First of all awesome videos in generall.Keep up the good work.Second I got a question: I'm trying to get started with lonboarding and I want to start it off with sth for cruising.I'm 164cm tall and weigh about 50 kg which is quite sth to think off when buying a longboard. (At least I think so). Do you guys have any suggestions. Thanks.
Raphael Siller Hey Raphael - for a pure cruiser carver at your weight/height, the Pintail 37 will get you where you want to go. Alternately, the Arbiter KT (or DK) with the right setup with also allow you to cruise and learn with the ability to move up to bigger hills and faster riding. I have my KT setup at the smallest wheelbase, so I have that feeling of cruising, but also the ability to do fast freeride. Are you still looking to pickup a new setup?
I see that in the static shots this has RKP trucks, but it looks like some of the park stuff might be using TKPs. Do you suggest Reverse Kingpins only or would Traditionals be okay for cruising and park use?
I was thinking of getting this board and I'm a street skater who rides harder wheels than longboard or cruiser wheels and I was looking for a brand that sells a decent sized hard wheel for this board, any seggustions
Is this a good board to cruise in city? If not, what board do you recommend? I'm searching for a not too big board where you can do tricks on and also cruise around with.
I weigh about 200 pounds and am about 5.9 tall. what would a good setup be for an all round setup? light downhill, freeride, commute etc.? what trucks and bushings and wheels ?
Shahzad Eric Nah not at all, Its a pure wood construction and comes in at $109USD which is pretty affordable for any deck made in the United States with a focus on quality materials. Depends what you are after, but the KT is one of the more versatile decks you can get for the money imo
Eliot Bilski there was def a fair amount of street style riding here. I think that's more just because everyone was excited about having a deck that can do this stuff (filmers included haha). Most of the riding the team actually does do on this board would fit squarely into the freeride / sliding sense of the sport. How tall and how heavy are you? That's going to be the deciding factor in how it would work for you starting out.
How is the durability? Are wheel wells as fragile as the ones on the baffle 37? Do they chip or delaminate when you smash them with pavement when you don't land a kickflip?
Ceco Sito Similar to the Baffle, the Arbiter DK is a wood board, so it's not going to be as durable as something like the Apex, which is made from quad-axial fiberglass. The Baffle's wheel wells are super flared, more than the Arbiter DK, so in that case, the DK will be more durable for you.
Hey Original. I have a question about the apex 37 diamond drop. I am ordering one, and i am getting the noseguards separate. Does the board have built in holes to put on the PK's?
gart thomas Hey Gart - the board doesn't have built in holes. You'll have to drill the deck, which is why a lot of people order the two together. Is there a specific reason you are ordering the nose guards separate from the board?
I already have my longboard and i am enjoying it a lot, with the nose guards of course! I got my apex 37 diamond drop off of Muirskate's website because it was a little cheaper, but because nose guards are only sold on your website (i will never buy anything off of ebay) I had to order them separate from the board. I had no trouble putting the nose guards on because I watched your very helpful video on how to apply them. Thats the only reason why I ordered them separate, but in the end, dropping 50 extra bucks doesn't make that much of a difference, besides saving some extra work.
i have the arbiter 36 and was thinking of upgrading but i cant decide whether to get a KT or a DK i skateboard but lately ive been doing skateboarding tricks with the 36 im just stuck if i should get the DK or KT
Brendan Davis ah tough call, I think you aren't the only with this question haha I am a little spoiled as I actually have one of each but maybe that gives me some extra insight (maybe not lol) OK. So I think that the key is having at least two of those three, which is where you are at. Since you said you already skate I will assume you have a deck that is specific to park / street etc. But you also said you were doing tricks with your OG Arbiter 36. I guess personally I would go with the KT since you will be able to pop it, but it's also got a wider WB which is not as big a jump as from the OG 36 to the DK's short wb. That said if you are leaning toward a more true crossover deck I'd go DK.
ok so we know the board is adviously versatile but what about the wheels are they a special versatile wheel to and if so what are they called rite me back homie💙🙇
Hey im thinking about getting this board Can i put some normal trucks and wheels on it and still use it as the complete because i reallyy reallyyy like this board
i'm about 6ft'1 and 167 pound.you think I can use this deck ? you suggest me some other deck ? my goal is to practice freeride and slinding at medium speeds. i like the simetrical and double kick
Arbitrer or apex? Mostly do cruising and been wanting to get into downhill witch will give me more bang for It's buck? Also which is the better board for my situation regardless of price?
Miguel Fuentes Couple things; 1. How tall / how heavy are you? 2. How serious are you about downhill / speed? Basically if you are into serious about getting into fast freeride / downhill you are going to probably going to want to lean toward an Arbiter KT as opposed to an Arbiter DK or an Apex. If you are still going to do a bunch of cruising, and tricks to go with a lot of sliding and some light downhill then I would go for an Apex I think. If you lean more street style then the DK is where its at.
Are you still looking to pickup a good wheel for your setup? Something like the radius wheels, if you're pressed for cash, it's more cruise oriented in the shape, but the formula of the wheel is great for sliding. If you want a more slide oriented slide wheel pickup the Liam Morgans (65 mm will give you more wheel clearance, so you can have looser trucks for cruising).
AlbertFloor7 Hey Albert - is your brother still looking for an Arbiter DK setup? Paris trucks are a really nice truck to setup with the DK, and something like Volante checkers are another well loved options by our team.
jacob dean Hey Jacob, The two options I would look at are the Arbiter DK (which you don't want) or the Arbiter KT. Those two decks we developed with freestyle in mind making the best of a wood construction. You of course could look at the Drop Freeride 41 or something similar, but those are really sliding first decks that are not specifically reinforced to stand up to day after day of freestyle. If you DO want that reinforcement, something like the Apex 40 DD would be perfect, but is above budget.
Levi VanKleek Hey Levi - the good thing about the DK, is that there are a bunch of short wheelbase options, so it'll give you that tight turn you want when you're cruising, but it's also versatile enough to ride different styles. Hope that helps. Let us know if you have anymore questions.
Yo guys so I have a long board it's great for cruising I love it, however lately I have been wanting to get into downhill. What kind of board can I get that I will be able to do a bit of downhill on but still be able to cruise with if I change my mind?
Miguel Fuentes I'm so glad you commented, because the the Arbiter KT or Arbiter DK is PERFECT for what you want to do. If you setup the KT at the smallest wheelbase, you can absolutely carve/cruise with it, but the board also gives you the ability to do downhill. There are tons of wheelbase/kicktail setup options, which is what makes it super versatile. The difference between the two is the wheelbase size. If you want a smaller wheelbase, go with the DK. Hope that helps. Let us know if you have questions!
Joost Van Den Brink Yeah 100% The tails are at a different angle than on a street deck since the trucks you use most of the time (RKP style) are higher than a street truck would be which requires the modified angle to hit the ground at the proper time. Thats the main reason you wouldn't just take a street deck and slap some RKPs on it to do the same thing. You can absolutely ollie it and every ollie you see in this vid slaps the ground as normal, or the ones I checked anyway haha
hayden dudar The answer is: YES. For the kind of riding you want to do, this deck will work perfectly. Alternately, you can pick up an Apex, which will give you a little more durability (from the quad axial fiberglass construction). What's your weight/height?
Hey Nils - what's your weight/height? If you're looking at doing power slides, the Baffle is great for pure sliding because of the wheel wells/flares. If you're looking at getting into fast freeride and sliding, the KT over the DK would be my suggestions. It has a wider wheelbase than the DK. Take a peak at some videos + photos of the KT on our website: originalskateboards.com/longboards/arbiter-36-kt
+Longboards by Original Skateboards 73kg/1,80m I don't have the opportunities to make fast freeride that's why I'm searching for a board to make long power slides with not too much speed. I guess the Baffle is the best choice here because of its width and stability. I'm not so interested in asymetrical baords like the KT and the DK seems too much orientated in freestyle. Thanks for the support!
Hey guys, im looking into getting into longboarding. the only skating that i've done has been cruising and, like i said, i'm looking to get into some downhill and freeriding. any recommendations? I'm about 6'0' and ~200 lbs. currently looking into the drop Freeride 41 but any other input would be much appreciated.
Wyatt Hambrick stoked man, sounds like you are about to get into the real fun stuff. I would take a look at the Drop Freeride 41 if you are going to get into the Freeride series. It's got a lot of what you need to initiate slides as easily as possible (thats the hardest part with learning). Another couple decks to take a look at are the Baffle 37 and the Vecter 37. See if any of those jump out at you, they are all geared for easy initiation, which as mentioned above, makes a big difference when learning.
Original arbiter 36, 44 caliber trucks , divine street slayer wheels 78a 72mm, bones reds bearings. I choose 44* trucks cus i was scared of speed wobbles. but now i have to footbrake lol
Hey original what is this board good at and which board is better apex 40 diamond drop or the arbiter 36 dk as i want to buy a board good for freeride and freestyle and maybe some downhill basically a good all round board please recommend mr which board is better
amos sim My guess is that you are probably going to be happier on a DiamondDrop if you want more of a longboard vibe but that you would prefer the Arbiter DK if you like more of a street look at things. They both blend back and forth a lot but the DiamondDrop is a true longboard where as the Arbiter DK takes longboard concave and applies it to more of a oversized street deck / bowl board. They obviously cross over each other but my guess is that you would be happier on a DD from your description.
TheLinmcgann Pretty close to the weight of the KT, maybe a touch lighter. The boards are the same size so you are really just talking about comparing the outlines relative to the total weight of the deck. In terms of translating that into actual performance, the most important thing to do is make sure you are rocking a good truck / wheel combo to get the pop out of the board. It's setup to work with RKPs but you will pop more on a TKP, or a smaller wheel. Thickness was left at 9 Ply given the DH ramps
How could i order a DK deck from you guys I live in South Africa and amazon doesnt ship the DK to South Africa! :( Im really looking forward to riding this board in the future please let me know. +Longboards by Original Skateboards
Victor Holloway We actually ship worldwide from our website, south africa included, for $60USD. The one thing to keep in mind is that VAT / taxes are not incuded so that will be some portion of your order (usually around +20%). Shipping is fast, 3 to 5 business days, via UPS Express.
Victor Holloway I ordered the DK super stoked i ordered it on the 19th of September and UPS said its gonna be here on the 29th pretty fast super excited thanks Original! +Longboards by Original Skateboards
depends on what riding style you're on. i had calibers 50, but i dont really get over 50km/h. so it was too much weight for nothing, now im waiting for my caliber street trucks. if your ride style is downhill/fast freeride you should throw some caliber 50/44. if you're more into freestyle and slow freeride you should throw some caliber street trucks!
i didnt even knew the master blaster but it looks a very downhill/freeride board. this is much more like a very freestyle/freeride board. so better think again what's your style and then buy some of them! or both!
Easier for some tricks, harder for others. The board is bigger than a normal deck which is going to make any on hill / big ramp stuff a lot easier just based on standing / landing platform. That being said a smaller board is going to be easier to rotate, while a bigger board will have a faster rotation speed once you learn how to whip it. Basically if you are doing the stuff we are doing with hill performance or cruising being an important piece, it's perfect.
Megan Magno Not at all, Actually we only have 4 pintails out of maybe 16 or 18 decks. We do way more downhill oriented decks than Pintails. How tall and how heavy are you? Also, are you going to be doing more sliding or more pure downhill speed / bombing?
Yeah the board is a little heavier for sure, What you get back in return is a much bigger platform / more concave for downhill / sliding stuff. You probably will be able to do most of the same tricks you can do on your shorter deck, just with less elevation / amplitude. The other bonus sort of comes on the cruising side since the deck is setup to work with RKP trucks which give a little more dive / carve to them depending on your setup (in addition to working well on the hills).
SpaceBeansTV Nah Dutch went off on his own a while back. After Hawaii we invited him back to live / work with us. Some substances got in the way of that relationship staying positive and Dutch headed out on his own with all our best wishes. I hear he is doing well and in Germany though I haven't talked to him in years at this point.
Miguel Rodriguez I think hes on Gullwings? I know he rides for those guys and alternates between their TKPs / RKPs depending on what kind of stuff he wants to do.
i was riding regular 8.5 thunder trucks on it, also rode some 8.5 independents. i just recently switched over to gullwing trucks . i like to use trucks that give it more of a regular skateboard feel, unless i plan on going really fast. You can honestly ride anything you'd like. it's all about what you feel comfortable with!
Tim Justus you can buy this board on our website: originalskateboards.com. Depending on where you live there may be a skate shop in your area that carries our decks. Where are you located?
I really want the arbiter DK mans. I'm from Brazil, and longboard here is not as disclosed, i want know if exist any store where i can buy this shape? My english is not good mans haha. any way Thanks guys #GoLongboard

Miguel Fuentes thanks dude, we work hard at it but its actually really fun to be in touch with you guys.
Thanks for being a part of it.
Cannot wait to get mine ordered, so stoked to have such a versatile board in my arsenal!
Sick! Proud of my brother's son! Great to see how far clowning around can get ya!
I love my Dk!
You guys make it look so simple ^^
Awesome Tommy Weiss !!!
Gunna be ordering one of these in the spring for a summer boarding trip to California can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thanks for the support, Dan. Let us know if you have any questions or need help ordering.
+Longboards by Original Skateboards imma buy one to in the summer cuz i don't have da money now!
I'm rocking the loaded chubby unicorn, but the Arbiter DK is still a deck that looks like i must have it
Looks super fun!
people thinking out the box. Using a longboard on ramps. both the designer and athlete are awesome.
I'm going to show this video to skaters that say you can't do flip tricks and awesome park shit on a longboard.
That's because this is almost like a Skateboard. If you really want to impress them show them an Apex freestyle video.
***** Agreed, they are almost on the borderline of ignorant.
justin knight no, they are ignorant. I hate how skateboarders just wine about longboarders cus all my skateboarding friends all wine about me and my other friend longboarding
Most skaters hate longboarders because 90% of them push mongo and are fucking hipsters
will went FLYING towards the end
Just seeing an Arbiter from the family is beautiful I've had my KT for almost 6 months and I'm still shredding shitty roads with allllllllllllllllll the wheelbase options :3 I love me an Original Longboard!
preston layfield stoke. That's one of my favorite decks and it sounds like you are liking yours just as much haha
Thanks for the good word.
You guys make some great boards im wondering what you people will make next :D
2:47 Anyone else notice that fucking alligator eyeballing him? The one that he later went swimming with.
Which is the brand of its equipment when he rides the snow ? at 2:15. It's soo cool
I ain't about that longboard life but I love watching hybrid vids because I love the longboard style n shit. Maybe I'll buy one
Aw that's sick
Looks like a fun ride. Only thing it doesn't look anything like a longboard, just an oversized regular skateboard.
I wanna buy one ! How much is it ? And is it faster than ordinary skateboards ?
Can you guys do a Board Guide for the Arbiter 36?
Thanks!
Connor Saur Hey Connor - we have a bunch of videos in the works, and since the Arbiter is very well loved among our team riders, it's most definitely on the list. Are you thinking about picking up an Arbiter 36?

I get wheel bite with caliber 50s and that's what I was told to get by someone on your website...
Get some 1/8" or 1/4" shock riser or hard riser pads. If that doesn't fix it, harder bushings, because the wheel clearance is pretty good on this deck from what I can see.
as matt said, get harder bushings. you cant use the bushings that come in stock with calibers, they're just for pushing
I love skateboarding
Hey, I'm from south africa, and was just wondering if there was any place where I could get my hands one this sick piece of work!
iv bin doing this for a while didn't know it had become a thing good to know I was rite 😎😃💜
What would be a good freeride/crusing wheel? And how much does this deck cost? Looks like a sick ride to me!

I'm about 5' 4" and 130 ish pounds and yeah, I'm lookin for a new deck
i really like cult chronicles
im gonna go to the skatepark and show all the skateboarders this board and see what they think.
i was thinking the exact same thing. but im not going to show it off, im going to shred it on their faces
Nacho Montico thats exactly what i meant lol
Thrasher Dominator They'd prob call you gay, a lot of core skaters frown upon nontraditional setups.
Colin X no sir, if you yourself as a person are "gay" no matter what you do or show anyone their first opinion is that it's gay lmao but nah if you're cool and present something cool on the table than shit it's cool as shit haha

I bet all the people that are summed to this channel are the type of people to say, yeah I skateboard.... But I just cruise😂
Aka posers
Nah breh. I winded up here cause I do tech sliding and am looking around at companies failing to make the perfect deck (*Cough LY Loco *cough)

wakeskate with trucks. =) thats a nice one.

what trucks and bushings and wheels ?

love this!but such a lovely board must be expensive!
Shahzad Eric Nah not at all,
Its a pure wood construction and comes in at $109USD which is pretty affordable for any deck made in the United States with a focus on quality materials.
Depends what you are after, but the KT is one of the more versatile decks you can get for the money imo
Can you slide and ride a bit downhill whit the arbiter dk ? :)
Hey this video looks like it was more geared to the skateboarding aspect of the board. Would this board be good for a beginner learning to slide?
That shit cray
what are some good tech skate wheel, like good for doing olies and stuff but also good for sliding
Thats the only reason why I ordered them separate, but in the end, dropping 50 extra bucks doesn't make that much of a difference, besides saving some extra work.
muito da hora 👊💀🎥🎥🎥
Does anyone know what Tom's set-up is?
which trucks are in the board when is doing a kickflip?
sdgc91 There are a bunch of different flip tricks, I believe there were Caliber 44s for the KF?
And what is a good drug if you want to do Tricks in the Park and cruising carfing and all that other longboard stuff
Should I either get an Arbiter 36 or a DK?
what would ya recommend for mostly freeride and a bit of downhill
arbiter 36
DK. Sketch is life.
Should I get this board? How big is it
i have the arbiter 36 and was thinking of upgrading but i cant decide whether to get a KT or a DK i skateboard but lately ive been doing skateboarding tricks with the 36 im just stuck if i should get the DK or KT
Brendan Davis ah tough call, I think you aren't the only with this question haha
I am a little spoiled as I actually have one of each but maybe that gives me some extra insight (maybe not lol)
OK.
Ok thanks that was my first choice just from other friends who ride original
ok so we know the board is adviously versatile but what about the wheels are they a special versatile wheel to and if so what are they called rite me back homie💙🙇
Hey im thinking about getting this board
Can i put some normal trucks and wheels on it and still use it as the complete because i reallyy reallyyy like this board
Ben Flaton Hey Ben - what kind of setup are you thinking of putting on the DK?
i'm about 6ft'1 and 167 pound.you think I can use this deck ? you suggest me some other deck ? my goal is to practice freeride and slinding at medium speeds. i like the simetrical and double kick
Arbitrer or apex? Mostly do cruising and been wanting to get into downhill witch will give me more bang for It's buck? Also which is the better board for my situation regardless of price?
Miguel Fuentes Couple things;
If you lean more street style then the DK is where its at.
i'm a beginner and don't know what wheels i should take for sliding and crusing in your shop (arbiter dk complete) +Longboards by Original
Are you still looking to pickup a good wheel for your setup? Something like the radius wheels, if you're pressed for cash, it's more cruise oriented in the shape, but the formula of the wheel is great for sliding. If you want a more slide oriented slide wheel pickup the Liam Morgans (65 mm will give you more wheel clearance, so you can have looser trucks for cruising).
and the liam Morgan's lay thane all day long.
What do u guys think of the restless splinter fiberlqm 40?
or in generell the splinter fiberlam series? Please help me.
My little brother wants this board, he is mainly going to be downhill freeriding. What kind of trucks and wheels.would you advise?
AlbertFloor7 Hey Albert - is your brother still looking for an Arbiter DK setup? Paris trucks are a really nice truck to setup with the DK, and something like Volante checkers are another well loved options by our team.
I'm looking for a great freestyle deck ( not this one ) I'm kinda a medium sized person 5'8 152 and looking for less than 150 for just the board
I forgot to mension that I have bear 852s and would use 65 mm butterballs
And make it really easy to initiate slides
jacob dean Hey Jacob,
The two options I would look at are the Arbiter DK (which you don't want) or the Arbiter KT.
Those two decks we developed with freestyle in mind making the best of a wood construction.
You of course could look at the Drop Freeride 41 or something similar, but those are really sliding first decks that are not specifically reinforced to stand up to day after day of freestyle. If you DO want that reinforcement, something like the Apex 40 DD would be perfect, but is above budget.
thx i will probe go with the arbiter kt
Would this board be okay for cruising? I like the whole idea of linking snowboarding and skating but i want to know if it would be good for cruising?
Can you do ollies like a skateboard on this, so the tail snaps against the ground and that generates the ollie or?
Joost Van Den Brink Yeah 100%
The tails are at a different angle than on a street deck since the trucks you use most of the time (RKP style) are higher than a street truck would be which requires the modified angle to hit the ground at the proper time. Thats the main reason you wouldn't just take a street deck and slap some RKPs on it to do the same thing. You can absolutely ollie it and every ollie you see in this vid slaps the ground as normal, or the ones I checked anyway haha
What kind of wheels are you running on this board?
i am really thinking of getting this board but i really dont know i love to freeride and put around and do park and street so should i get it?
hayden dudar The answer is: YES. For the kind of riding you want to do, this deck will work perfectly. Alternately, you can pick up an Apex, which will give you a little more durability (from the quad axial fiberglass construction). What's your weight/height?
Longboards by Original Skateboards I'm 6'1 and ~170 lbs, would this board be good for me?
cant decide between this and the kt. Help
what wheels at 0:22
Ok which one is better for powerslides, this one or the baffle? can't decide :/
+Longboards by Original Skateboards 73kg/1,80m
I don't have the opportunities to make fast freeride that's why I'm searching for a board to make long power slides with not too much speed.
See if any of those jump out at you, they are all geared for easy initiation, which as mentioned above, makes a big difference when learning.
hey original whats a good wheel for a beginner trying to slide
***** Hey Austin - what does the rest of your setup look like?
They obviously cross over each other but my guess is that you would be happier on a DD from your description.
will u review the santa cruz lion king or god rasta (I own it) and I'm only 11
They only ''review'' their own original skateboards
How heavy is this board? because I remember the Arbiter KT to be pretty thick and heavy. Would not having another tail bring on additional weight?
TheLinmcgann Pretty close to the weight of the KT, maybe a touch lighter.
The boards are the same size so you are really just talking about comparing the outlines relative to the total weight of the deck.
In terms of translating that into actual performance, the most important thing to do is make sure you are rocking a good truck / wheel combo to get the pop out of the board. It's setup to work with RKPs but you will pop more on a TKP, or a smaller wheel. Thickness was left at 9 Ply given the DH ramps
Can I buy the wheels separate.
Ok awesome thanks. Bit pricey for me now but I'll start saving.
Victor Holloway
I ordered the DK super stoked i ordered it on the 19th of September and UPS said its gonna be here on the 29th pretty fast super excited thanks Original! +Longboards by Original Skateboards
what kind of trucks do you recommend to put on the original arbiter?
Caliber is the best
depends on what riding style you're on. i had calibers 50, but i dont really get over 50km/h. so it was too much weight for nothing, now im waiting for my caliber street trucks. if your ride style is downhill/fast freeride you should throw some caliber 50/44. if you're more into freestyle and slow freeride you should throw some caliber street trucks!
Logan Waudby Hey Logan - setting your board up and picking trucks depends on one thing: what kind of riding are you interested in doing?
I do mostly sliding and downhill. i recently got a pair of calibers that work really well for me.
Logan Waudby great choice! caliber is the way to go!
I want it
Hey guys what are the deafult drugs of this board if i order it as a complete board ??
What is his set up?
originally, i was so set on a master blaster, but fuck it im getting this!
no, get the master blaster
ABlongboarders LOL
Get the master blaster
i didnt even knew the master blaster but it looks a very downhill/freeride board. this is much more like a very freestyle/freeride board. so better think again what's your style and then buy some of them! or both!
Nacho Montico master blaster is a kickass downhill freeride deck but i set my eyes on this because kicktails and more versatile.
Is this board as easy to do tricks on as a normal trick board?
Easier for some tricks, harder for others.
The board is bigger than a normal deck which is going to make any on hill / big ramp stuff a lot easier just based on standing / landing platform. That being said a smaller board is going to be easier to rotate, while a bigger board will have a faster rotation speed once you learn how to whip it. Basically if you are doing the stuff we are doing with hill performance or cruising being an important piece, it's perfect.
You forgot Will Stephan in riders
Hey guys I know you mostly do pintails but can you recommend a downhill longboard please I'm looking but not any seek my attention please
Megan Magno Not at all,
Actually we only have 4 pintails out of maybe 16 or 18 decks.
We do way more downhill oriented decks than Pintails.
How tall and how heavy are you?
Also, are you going to be doing more sliding or more pure downhill speed / bombing?
I'm about 5,5 I'm kinda heavy but not badly and I want to do more down hill but have a little sliding into it
0:05 woodward!!!!!!!!!
I'm guesing it's harder to do pop trick like ollies or what ever can someone fill me in on this I'm thinking of getting one
Yeah the board is a little heavier for sure,
What you get back in return is a much bigger platform / more concave for downhill / sliding stuff.
Thanks m8
What mm and a is good for sliding?
i really like 65 80
Shiny piercings distracted me
Brett Ciabatinni wears Brooklyn Workshop!!
But, Brooklyn Workshop they don't answer their phone
Lol
Is Ian Joe Dutch still on your team?
I read something on facebook, that heleave the team, is that true?
SpaceBeansTV Nah Dutch went off on his own a while back. After Hawaii we invited him back to live / work with us. Some substances got in the way of that relationship staying positive and Dutch headed out on his own with all our best wishes. I hear he is doing well and in Germany though I haven't talked to him in years at this point.
thats kinda cool i gess
*LOVE IT!*
what trucks use tom on his dk?
Miguel Rodriguez I think hes on Gullwings? I know he rides for those guys and alternates between their TKPs / RKPs depending on what kind of stuff he wants to do.
i was riding regular 8.5 thunder trucks on it, also rode some 8.5 independents. i just recently switched over to gullwing trucks . i like to use trucks that give it more of a regular skateboard feel, unless i plan on going really fast. You can honestly ride anything you'd like. it's all about what you feel comfortable with!
Sorry i forgotten about sliding too
Where can buy this Board?
Tim Justus you can buy this board on our website: originalskateboards.com. Depending on where you live there may be a skate shop in your area that carries our decks. Where are you located?
