@@Axusline27 if we're taking about what to be afraid of from that time period, surviving long enough to get eaten comes after suffocating to death in a strange time with no idea why. Just saying, a small joke about the atmosphere would have been funny and had actual standing with everything else he was talking about. Giant lizards and massive mammals... yeah but oxygen poisoning and or esphexiation. This is supposed to be somewhat based on science and entertainment. Go troll somebody else.

Imagine if advanced alien species are real and they visited earth hundreds of millions of years ago and witnessed these crazy creatures and then deemed earth an unintelligent planet full of hostile wildlife and never came back lol. In any case, it's pretty amazing to think that other possibly habitable planets could be anywhere along their evolutionary life cycle from their own version of prehistoric times, to their current modern era, or even in their advanced civilization age.

There's fossils for all of them, but some of the fossils, and their subsequent art depictions are real stretches, like the Anomolacaris. But others like the jaekelopterus seem pretty accurate. It's pretty crazy how these prehistoric animals looked and functioned, and how some managed to stay fossilized almost perfectly.
