Curious choice
At first, I wasn't quite fond of the reverb. For it's a bit much for my taste. Hovever in the end, I didn't even notice anymore. being stunned of the sheer beauty of adams play.
Adam Del Monte is highly respect by classical and flamenco guitar experts and masters. Hell, he is a master. People in the know rate him highly. But people who know nothing about this style of music can also rate videos.
TH-cam can be a silly place. People downvote videos out of jealous or bigotry, and guitarists can be very jealous people. If someone sees another guitarist doing something they cannot do, it is much easier for them to create a self delusion than it is to practice.
downvotes and opinions are not a crime nor is the reasoning for a downvote standardized so im greatful for people expressing unique feedback relevant to their lifes perspective. for example... maybe they dont like the setting of the show. but instead we could hate on people hating. thatll achieve your point im sure.

Next to Christopher Parkening's performance of this piece, it is the best the best I have heard. thank you Mr. del Monte, for a wonderful performance of what I consider the most beautiful piece ever written for spanish guitar.

What a beautiful interpretation played "In the Spanish Style". I always preferred Christopher Parkenings version to the other greats and Adam absolutely nails it here! It's so nice to finally hear a high quality recording of this piece after so many years. I first saw Adam perform live in the mid 1990's at a small exotic furniture store called Koan Collection on Melrose Ave in LA. Two times to be exact. The owner converted the store into an intimate concert space about 6 times a year and the place couldnt have sat more then 100 people tops! It was a wonderful venue to see 1st class world music musicians in the most intimate candlelit setting while surrounded by the most beautiful exotic art and furniture from India and Indonesia. As I recall Adam played back to back sets of Flamenco and classical guitar and his virtuosity just blew us all away!. I approached Adam after the concert and asked if he gave lessons but sadly at the time he didnt and this was also well before the internet. You ever wish you had a time machine?? I sure do!

This is by far my all time favorite piece, I can't stand to see so many people on youtube that completely butcher it, so it's nice to see somebody play it with so much style, although I can't say that I'm surprised because Adam is truely an incredible musician..

I have always loved this piece, since the first time I heard Segovia play it. I loved learning it. And playing it. Chris Parkening, Angel Romero, and now Adam, have been my favorites performing it. ALL those named here have great technique but distinctly different.

Capricho Arabe una de mis preferidas, gracias maestro por tan bella interpretación.
I happened on one of his teaching videos and thought.....some killer stuff but a bit scattered in presentation, then this popped up. OMG, I will go back and listen more :)

Wow that ribbon mic turns detailed sound into a blooming watercolor beautiful! Sounds much better than a condenser most people stick these mics 2 inches from a blaring guitar amp next to a sm57. More artists should use these mics on classical guitar so dreamy
