For me, these guys are in the same bracket as Queens of the Stone age. Crazy undervalued by mainstream media, but immensely skilled musicians. I dare to put them up to any (rock) musician who had ever lived and they"ll all take their hats off for them, as performers and musicians.
I know that the additional guitarist (Mike Vennart) and the keyboardist are not parts of the band and are just additional live members, but it'd be nice if the camera gave them a bit more love, it is an awesome live performance after all!
I got into Biffy around a year ago because my girlfriend introduced me to them, my god this is the best band I've ever heard and their music never disappoints, which I got into them a lot sooner
Can we take a moment to appreciate the video direction here?! Switching focus to different band members at the key points, in one fluid motion. Fantastic!
The Biff just gets better and better. Every time I think I have a favourite tune they come up with something on another level. Also the tightest band ever. So glad I have seen them live a few times. Definitely in the top ten best bands of all time in my opinion.
I think there’s definitely a difference between studio Biffy and live Biffy. Both are amazing but live they are just so much more exceptional x especially with the beautiful explosive energy they muster x No wonder Simon sweats so much live x him and the boys give everything and more in their performances x Absolutely fantastic x
Watched them live and was blown away. Was a massive fan beforehand. But live is just something you have to witness. They absolutely give it 100% every time. Magical. Mon the Biff
Simon is a master lyricist. His songwriting is unique and brilliant. And as musicians they are always up to the task to take those lyrics and create a great song. But I'm mainly here to see Vennart dancing as he plays in the background! 😂

Compare it to something even as "Early Modern Period" (as it were) as "That Golden Rule"... now there's a breakdown that stays broken No re-breaking required.

@@octaviohimself haha I wish! I saw them in Liverpool for the fingers crossed tour.
I really think A Hunger In Your Haunt is potentially the best song they've ever released, and it's on their 10th album. Madness
One of my favourites for sure, the mad energy of their older stuff paired with a huge ass chorus and and "woh oh's" from the later stuff, just class.
