In any case, how could she and we, as ordinary people, understand the reasons behind the actions of a person who was in almost every way demonstrably beyond the ordinary? I, along with many or most other long-time readers of Schuon, accept not being able to understand everything he wrote. So why would we expect to achieve a complete understanding of some of his actions, particularly when they are reported by a person with a dubious record of honesty?
