He could've easily beaten Trudeau during the last election, but like many other people, Canadians are scared of real change. In my opinion the interview couldv'e been longer. It's super common for Canadian shows to cover US (and world) politics, but it doesn't seem to be that common at all for US shows to cover Canadian politics, although as of late, that appears to slowly be changing e.g. Patriot Act doing that episode on Justin Trudeau...before the whole black/brown face scandal. But hey, Hasan didn't see that coming, and neither did the rest of us in Canada! #facepalm Btw, Jagmeet Singh's first response to that scandal was honestly one of the most moving and authentic displays of humanity I've ever seen from any politician. People like Bernie in America or Jagmeet here in Canada are a rare breed and I don't think most of us realise how lucky we are to have them amongst us. As someone from Quebec who grew up in a poor working class family, I've witnessed with my own yes the direct repercutions of our governments neglecting our healthare system over the years. While y'all busy speculating about the price of the cup of coffee or comparing our situation to the one of completely different countries, I've recently witnessed close family members passing away from medical conditions that could've easily been prevented if they would've had access to medical care sooner and more regularly

transfo47 I always treat anyone I meet with respect and open mindedness no matter what they look like unless of course they don’t reciprocate that respect.
However we all have subconscious bias we can’t control and I’m just admitting I was unfairly judged him on his appearance before hearing what he had to say.
After hearing his stance on important issues vs the other potential candidates, it was clear to me (based on his ideas) that he’s the candidate I will be giving my vote to.
