RoN is pretty good but can be difficult to understand when it comes to the gameplay, Iron Assault when compared to RoN just looks basic and that's what I like about Iron Assault, its easy to learn and easy to play
I recommend you start playing RoN more, once you get used to the political, war, and economic mechanics of the game, it's extremely fun.

I've met plenty of people who played Iron Assault on their crusty black computer chair, and they've all told me that
"Ron was too complex."

RoN is very fun once you understand at least the basic mechanics of the game, and it doesn't even take you that long to understand the game, perhaps 30 minutes maybe? RoN definitely feels more immersive in it's more complex gameplay as an RTS, especially for a Roblox game. There's just more content to do in RoN and the gameplay has depth and feels "real", meanwhile IA is pretty mediocre at best in terms of it being a good RTS. I feel like comparing IA to RoN is kinda unfair since even though both are in the same genre, one is obviously just better than the other in almost all aspects of gameplay.

ive play/played both of them, i do enjoy Iron Assault but its a very simple game. RON is easily more enjoyable bc theres way more to do

I'm like a level 25 on IA and 10M xp on RON and I agree on all points with you, RON may be complex but when you finally understand you really get addicted to it
Reminds me of dummynation, it's kinda as complex and strange as RoN, but in 2 days you should be able to handle it.

I used to play so much Iron Assault. I even used to say "RoN is too hard!!1!"
But then I decided to actually learn the game and now prefer RoN instead of Iron assault lol (which I still play sometimes)
I even do HOI4 which is harder then RoN **In my opinion**
IA is a good setting ground for people who are interested in the RTS genre and there only gaming platform is Roblox. Other than that, yeah, it's kinda mid.
Hoi4 is better in every way except being cost efficient
I used to play RON. I quit because it became too complex and they removed electronic farms.

RoN is hard to understand at the beginning(and there's only bad tutorial),also there is no single player for you to learn the game yourself,IA is easier to understand and no need tutorial,ofc the achievement after you've finally learned RoN is BIG,but I'll just go Heart of iron 4 "insert hoi4 theme here"

Tbh after playing Iron assault 2 demo, it could actually challenge rise of nations, (hoi4 solos tho)
IA2 has alot of potential hopefuly Minitoon uses that potential to its fullest
if it will be like an enchanced version of ron then yes i might switch to it idk maybe in the middle, if it remains similar to the first maybe i'd stay in ron idk

When it comes to ideology, I wish both were better, but Ron at least let's you do all of them, with Iron assault, you have to already be Non-Aligned to be Non-Aligned.

I play both and im addicted to both it actually depends on your opinion if you like realistic and economic things with formables techonogy building army commander hiring diplomacy anything connected with political and realistic play rise of nations if you want to be competitive and have a fast game or a game where you can have 2 second battle with the troops then play iron assault (edit) and finally someone who uses east prussia aka kaliningrads troops as Germany in iron assault
I completely agree with you there because I’m also addicted to both RON is more competitive and complicated but IA is more simple and a perfect beginner game for a person who just got into the strategy based community
The problem with Iron Assault is that it wayyy too slow

Both are good games I’m at like level 20 in iron assault and got 15 million XP in Ron

Iron Assault 2 is being released and just by looking at the demo you can see that if it is developed correctly it will either tie or surpass RON

wow i used to play ron back then but i moved to iron assault cause i got bored and i can make maps in ia. used to also be in the ia community server and its academy, but the academy server disappeared from my discord idk how.
Yeah I got bored of Ron a lot but what I find is that if you take a break for a while and come back it really brings back the fun and joy of the game
