Corpus Christi
The Eucharist, Holy Mass is the most important and powerful prayer of our Catholic Tradition. On this special Solemnity or Feast Day we honour the Lord in the wonderful gift of The Body and Blood of Jesus, a memorial and reality of His continuing presence with us.
As we mark our reverence for the gift of the Eucharist on this Feast we pray:
‘Come, let us adore Christ the Lord, the bread of life. Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: as it was in the beginning, is now, and will be for ever. Amen.’
