You should watch the k-pop idols vs inappropriate fan calls. It’s sad what these idols go through. I find those weird fan calls so disturbing, because some ‘fans’ act like they aren’t human. People forget that these idols are human too!

as far as i know, you have to be a member of the group's official fan club (pay for a yearly subscription) and buy a TON of albums from specific stores that offer the virtual fansign (usually the fans who organize big group orders or are RICH rich can afford so many albums) to get a chance and get sorted for the 20-30 calls per store the idols do. so yeah, that's one way to filter through and get the most delulu fans on the calls 😅 and also a cause for the very large amount of kpop albums that end in the trash alongside the photocard market 🥲. Oh and the fancalls and virtual fansign calls were a way to replace the physical fansigns during the pandemic, but now idols do both.
