Excellent work Naveen. You helped me to understand the Rest API from root. Well Explained ! Have a question from what I read somewhere that REST is stateless, therefore the SERVER has no state (or session data). If there is no Session Data then how REST Client can "Cache" it and utilize it again(If triggered to same endpoint)?

Hi Naveen, for GET method when you send the request and you get the response in JSON format. How to validate that data sending by server is correct or not? Do we need to validate response at client against server database?

Hi, Thank you so much for excellent tutorials, but I have a query regarding Swagger, so every company will have its own swagger documentation and will it have samples for how to GET, POST calls.
I mean for example, if company is amazon it will have its own swagger with samples
and company Ebay will have its own swagger documnetation with its own samples, so QAs can understand how to test API services

Thank you for the wonderful videos. However, I have a question at 12:55. api.com/service/account/1. i understood that service is a folder name in S2 server and account is a class. After that there is a line which says there will be one method to fetch the details of account ID = 1. which method will be that ? will it be present in the URI itself?

Is it correct?
Here the URL is baseURL which is not an endpoint (the endpoint is the URL where your service can be accessed by a client application) and API URL is the "Resource".
So BaseURL+Resource can be an endpoint.

the concept of endpoint url mentioned at 30:03 is bit confusing when compared to information on net! https:reqres.in - is it base url or endpoint url????
When we are entering url in browser we are getting directly json response only why?
Is it mandatory to HAVE API testing skill, or is it optional for a full time BLACK BOX TESTER?
