I have just watched this again, I do explain the handle very shall we say clumsily if that is a word.
When making the handle it would be easier to do a 3 finger pinch twist.
Then a 3 finger bubble and another 3 finger pinch twist.
Then the 10 finger bubble, 8 finger bubble and another 10 finger bubble
which is twisted into the first pinch twist. Hope that helps XXxx
