Hell,I wouldn´t even have seen that.I even found that game to be the best looking of those shown here... But actually,if it´s an XBOX exclusive game,something that embarrassing wouldn´t surprise me. The attention I pay to an eastereggs vid on YT is pretty much all the spoiled ten year olds (and the just generally dumb people with too much money and too little self respect) that play XBOX without even a slight disgust and shame when touching the controller can bring up anyway,so nobody´s ever gonna see. On the other hand,ever since I started playing on PC mostly,I´ve lost some of my trust in the graphics of a real console as well. Still I´d be surprised if Microsoft wouldn´t exploit the mental degeneration of their players if they could.

Those anime chicks appeared in the classic shadow warrior and were pretty common. There are several more of them hidden in the new one, as well as a bunch of "retro" secret areas, one of which doubles as a monty python reference :P
I forgot all about that part, and then when it appeared I was very underwhelemed. It seemed like a very lazy easter egg. But that ghost army one was amazing.
It would've been more awesome if Battlefield 4 added the dinosaur coming out of the forest and the soldiers have to kill it to get an achievement. That would've been historical. (:

Jak X-2 ... that sounds pretty cool, a good idea indeed. I would like a second one or remake too. Still my best racing game to date, it even had a good story. :D

The moving trees and sound effect are from the first season when SOMETHING was out there. Also the Shadow Warrior sprite girls are references to the original Shadow Warrior game which had a lot of half naked anime girls hidden throughout it.
i'm sure ther is one somewhere. there's a mall you visit pretty early on that has a 'jak x' board game. so i wouldn't be surprised if there's a crash easter egg in there somewhere. in all the uncharted games one of the relics you could find was a precursor orb.

actually I didn't like SotC, at least not loved it. I think it was an ok game, but the camera is too frustrating. "I don't think the secret garden is an Easter egg" well, it's a zone you're not supposed to be, like the cake room in portal 1.
lecorbak I don't see areas your not supposed to be because developers cut it from the game as Easter eggs, more like glitches. Duke Nukem and Blood have some of the best Easter Eggs I've ever seen and there are other older games with great Easter eggs. I mainly meant lesser known games haven't many interesting ones. Duke Nukem 3D has a Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey (with music) and Indiana Jones impaled on a spike. Monolith (developer of DN3D and Blood) seem to be the only developer that now include less Easter eggs than they used to. I've just noticed a rise in great ones in recent games. The Megaladon in BF4 is probably my favourite Easter egg of all time and that came this year, I don't even like BF4. Megaman has never appealed to me, neither has Doom, so I personally wouldn't consider it to be a great Easter egg, the Hadouken one is pretty cool though. "but old games are part of the culture and shouldn't be forgotten because there are new games" I do makes videos with old games, check out the videos I make solely for older games. I don't make videos so older games aren't forgotten, I search for Easter eggs which I find appealing to me and to a wide audience and then make a video with them, regardless of the date the game was released.
im sure someone has pointed it out but the shadow warrior easter egg is from the original shadow warrior ("You watch wang wash wang?") and interacting with the bathing girls often resulted in them pulling an uzi out and blasting you... wondering if there was more to those easter eggs in the new one...
nice video, some things ill probably check out, but theres tons of other amazing easter eggs in earlier games, most of the ones you showed here are very recent games.
I love the 8 bit showering girls in Shadow Warrior. I stumbled upon the first one right in the beginning of the game. Almost fell out of my chair, just a great laugh. I think there are 3 or 4 total in the game.
The stanley parable, each time you beguin the history again you can search for a computer awaiting for an input, press it and a progress bar will be fill, do this every time until the bar is full, when it's full you'll be teleportated to a room, made of buttons... and sry about my english

the point was that your video doesn't represent the video games in general because there is only 1-2 types of video games in it and they are all recent ones.
Actually I loved Pokémon X, tales of graces, sonic generations, rogue legacy, avgn adventures, disgaea 4, senran kagura, touhou 14, megaman 9, dust an elysian tail, shadow of the colossus (PS3), klonoa (wii), muramasa, rhythm heaven, rhythm heaven fever, and other games.
and now I'm playing super smash bros 4 and skyrim, and I'm going to play freedom planet after that.
but I play old games too, like Maximo on PS2 I finished recently and had a good time with it.
lecorbak The "My" in front of the title is key. These are MY Top 10. Sure there are Easter Eggs in other games but they didn't appeal to me. Again, you bring up Easter eggs in games that weren't released in 2013. These are only recent games because the title of the video states that these are my favourite from 2013, like someone might make a Top 10 Games from 2013 list. You just may not have understood that.

I said that because your comment is similar to a comment that I get on so many of my videos. That I need to include older, lesser known games. The reason I don't is because they usually don't have interesting Easter eggs that not only appeal to me, but a wide audience. My god, if I could include an Easter Egg from Shadow of the Colossus I would, but it doesn't have anything interesting (I don't think the secret garden is an Easter egg).

Yes, these are casual gamers. I'd say the largest portion of the gaming community. People have different tastes in games. Out of the games you listed, I've probably played a third of them and only enjoyed playing two. (SotC and Dust). I'm not much of gamer any more, I enjoy playing games but not as much as I used to. My favourite games are Red Dead Redemption, The Last of Us and Spyro the Dragon. I'm a sucker for a great story that I personally find strongest in some AAA developers.

there's an island that you can't go on goldeneye 007 that is on the game and was intended to be accessible.

in doom 2, the demonic voice of the final boss is a reversed sentence who says "to win the game, you must kill me john romero", and if you go behing the demonic wall using cheat codes, you can see the head of john romero impaled, and it serves as the hitbox of the final boss.

lecorbak I don't see areas your not supposed to be because developers cut it from the game as Easter eggs, more like glitches. Duke Nukem and Blood have some of the best Easter Eggs I've ever seen and there are other older games with great Easter eggs. I mainly meant lesser known games haven't many interesting ones. Duke Nukem 3D has a Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey (with music) and Indiana Jones impaled on a spike. Monolith (developer of DN3D and Blood) seem to be the only developer that now include less Easter eggs than they used to. I've just noticed a rise in great ones in recent games.
The Megaladon in BF4 is probably my favourite Easter egg of all time and that came this year, I don't even like BF4. Megaman has never appealed to me, neither has Doom, so I personally wouldn't consider it to be a great Easter egg, the Hadouken one is pretty cool though.

I do makes videos with old games, check out the videos I make solely for older games. I don't make videos so older games aren't forgotten, I search for Easter eggs which I find appealing to me and to a wide audience and then make a video with them, regardless of the date the game was released.

im sure someone has pointed it out but the shadow warrior easter egg is from the original shadow warrior ("You watch wang wash wang?") and interacting with the bathing girls often resulted in them pulling an uzi out and blasting you... wondering if there was more to those easter eggs in the new one...

Lol the Stanley Parable one was hilarious!
I love the 8 bit showering girls in Shadow Warrior. I stumbled upon the first one right in the beginning of the game. Almost fell out of my chair, just a great laugh. I think there are 3 or 4 total in the game.
The stanley parable, each time you beguin the history again you can search for a computer awaiting for an input, press it and a progress bar will be fill, do this every time until the bar is full, when it's full you'll be teleportated to a room, made of buttons...
