@@JERRYCROWNOVER I would absolutely enjoy participating in your live stream, however due to the time difference, it's the middle of the night for me here in Rome. But I'll be sure to watch it when I wake up. I'll try to think of a question that you can answer for me during your live stream. Your thoughts?
Me, too, for the first 100 acres, but after that it gets a little monotonous. I’ve got my first livestream scheduled for June 19 @ 8:00 PM CST. Hope you can watch and join in the fun!
I also have a JD HX-15 rotary cutter. I see that you cut away that green plastic shielding from behind the pto coupler. I left mine on and it is a booger to greese those zerks. I like your tip on the pto shaft strap.
What number tractor are you using on the HX-15.? I'm thinking of downsizing and trading one of my row crop tractors for a little less HP and a newer model. I don't need row crop tractors any longer, now that we've rented out our farm ground. I'm wondering if a 90 HP JD 5090 or a 100 HP 5100 would be adequate.
@@steveningrahm8928 Either model would probably be sufficient. I pull mine with a 6330, which is 82 HP (using the old rating method) so I think the 5100 replaces it.
@@JERRYCROWNOVER Yeah, that's what I hear. I check Tractor House and Machine Finder regularly to keep up to date on the asking prices of used machinery. I can probably sell my tractor and loader for more than I paid for them new in 2005. I have found quite a few new and lightly used 5090E and a few 5100E tractors with loaders at Missouri dealerships.
Always satisfying to get the pastures mowed. Makes the place look so nice when you're done.
It is! Thanks for watching.
A freshly mowed pasture looks prettier than a golf course to me.
I couldn’t agree more! Thanks for your comment.
I'm happy to hear that you're on the mend!! As always, thanks for taking us along.
Thanks a million! Got a livestream scheduled for June 19, at 8:00 PM CST. Hope you can watch and join in the fun.

That would be great! Thanks.

That’s what we do this time of year!

lol! I didn’t cut it away, but it eventually ripped off-and I wasn’t disappointed!
😊

Those older, preDEF machines are selling at a premium, now!
