I adopted two older kids, if you have outside help like a therapist (a MUST, no matter their ages) and family counseling it's perfectly doable. All it's needed is patience and grace while they unpack and resolve their trauma. Seems a lot but children are so resilient it's unbelievable
She's a Muslim so I'm assuming you sadly can't adopt her to become a member of your family. In Islam adoption works a little bit differently and that's due to many different reasons.

I adopted two older kids, if you have outside help like a therapist (a MUST, no matter their ages) and family counseling it's perfectly doable. All it's needed is patience and grace while they unpack and resolve their trauma. Seems a lot but children are so resilient it's unbelievable

3years ago I got a child her father abandoned her wanted to give her for adoption because I'm young and no finance for her needs.
After a week changed my mind to keep her today maa Shaa Allah I'm the most happiest mother she's very beautiful so smart and fun to be with makes me laugh when am sad she wipes my tears when am crying and hug me Fathima is the greatest gift Allah has given me after Islam.. never leave your kids because of your shortcomings.
I'm here only parent and alhamdulillah she'll be starting Quranic school in 4 months please mothers and fathers in Islam can help with any small amount so I can add to my savings and open a small business to sell food.
