I get seasonal depression in the winter, so I am definitely ready for spring! Our weather hasn't been too bad as far as a lot of snow/ice and really low temps, but we've had a lot of gray, rainy days. The sun is actually out today, though. ❤ 🌞
I wasn't that impressed with what is out so far. I got a Water Lily Springs ffm because I had a coupon for a free travel size item. It's not one I'd pick as my every day scent, but I like it for something different, kinda like Saltwater Breeze. I'm curious to see what the next round will bring.
I hear you! I think I'd handle winter better if it weren't so long where I live! I'm starting to finally see signs of Spring now, but it's still way too cold for my liking! 🌬️
I also agree with you there, these aren't really "Melissa-scents." I usually start getting more excited about the new releases for summer semi annual sale! I sure loved all of the fun fruity/soda scents for example. 🧃 I can be that way too about fresh clean scents. They are nice on occasion but I only use them once in a while if I get a craving for it. 🌊

The only 2024 release that I have enjoyed, will wear , and expand on so far this year has been Calypso Clementine. It's the only newbie that I've purchased.

@@MelissaC I like that one as well but have only smelled the candle, the mini FFM were the only body care available in my store ( they got about 3 of them 😆 ) and they sold out before I had a chance to smell. The candle was gorgeous, but such a light throw. What is the staying power like with the body care?
BBWs is hard launching tropical and it just makes me feel a little rushed (I know, that's retail for ya😉). I just want to fully anticipate Spring!🌷
I know, I've always felt that the season that felt the most off for BBW was when they launch tropicals in Feb/March. I just have to remember that even though it's still going to be between 20 F - 45 F until at least April for me, there are other places in the states that are already putting in their gardens now and planning their beachy Spring Break vacations! I wish I was one of those people right now! 🤣🌞🏖️ In the meantime, I think this is one of the most successful times of year for me to get a good dent into my project use it up and complete bottles that I've been meaning to finish up regardless of their seasonality! 🌿🌷
Yes, I'm trying to use up products, as well!😂 Also, here in southwest Ohio, we received another blast of snow and temps that dipped in the low 20s F on Friday. Hopefully that's the last of it until next winter!🤞 Dreaming of warmer days...🌞🌷😊
Meet me in Miami is a unique one that Im really loving. There is a cooling affect when you spray it on your body! Maybe the Breezy palm trees note🌴 it’s a great base for your summer combos too… it paired nicely with all of the 2023 tropical collection:)

Winter has been great to me!! It barely snowed this year in my state of 4 season.
I’m really liking a lot of the florals! Tropidelic smells soooooo good! At least in the Wallflower scent refills.
Wisconsin has had a mild winter overall , but I’m ready for spring. 🌷
It’s so funny, Sea Salt Coast immediately took me back to high school and I wasn’t sure why… Then someone mentioned it has CK One vibes and that is it! It’s not a dupe, but it has that same vibe and it reminds me of a person who is no longer here so I did grab a FFM in it.
Tropidelic smell okay on me, but I can’t see myself wearing it often. Now this may change as the weather warms up here, but I’m not investing in the full size unless I actually start wearing it frequently.
I’m fine with tropical scents coming out. I grabbed the ones I will enjoy this summer during the $5.95 sale and will set them aside until it warms up. The new Sweet Kiwi & Starfruit is really nice.

My recent purchases was sweetheart cherry,calpso,peach bellani. I did get the meet me in miami but im layering things everyday if i can finds lotion to go with or perfumes with bodysprays to go thru things quicker.

Water Lily Springs reminds me just a little of VS Aqua Kiss which I love!
My favorite just from sniffing is Thailand Kiwi and starfruit! I got two of the mists but I’m irritated that there isn’t a cream or lotion(yet 🤞🏻)
It’s been warmer in Kentucky but this past weekend was freezing!! I can’t really get into Summer/tropical scents until at least May. We still have cold days until the end of May 😬
Meet Me In Miami smells like one of the mark Instant Vacation scents that Avon put out when I was in high school (in the best way possible) so I grabbed it so fast.

The only scent that I didn't purchase from a reseller (who would ship the products to my country) is Meet Me In Miami. I did get Tropidelic, Sweetheart Cherry, Sea Salt Coast and Water Lily Springs. Right now, I'm really looking forward to seeing the upcoming 'Dressed In White' and 'First Sight'. I hope they don't disappoint.
Hi Melissa! I'm not the only one who feels this way with spring and tropical fragrances during this time of year. It's still cold here where I live. I'm still wearing warmer fragrances even though I purchased a couple of spring and tropical fragrances from BBW. Maybe when the warmer weather comes I will feel more excited. I'm actually kind of over a lot of the coconut fragrances from BBW. I don't like that sun tan smell so I skip out on At The Beach year after year for that reason. Just cannot relate to it. I decluttered my Waikiki Beach Coconut last year. Not a fan. I'm very picky with coconut fragrances. I skipped out Meet Me In Miami for that reason. I was not a fan of Coco Paradise for that reason as well. I like to wear Frosted Coconut Snowball in the summer months as it has a cooling note and it's one coconut fragrance I can get on board with. It gets rather humid here during the summer months. I'm being really picky with BBW fragrances this year. Water Lily Springs was too floral for me and I see this one giving me a headache so it was a pass for me. I do like Sea Salt Coast though. The Sandalwood note is sweet to my nose which is what I like. I did pick it up, but this one I think will do well in the summer heat. I picked up Tropidelic in the full sized mist. It does remind me a bit like Bahamas. Same family. It reminds me of a fragrance I've had in the late 80's and in the 90's. I do like it though as it's different and I'm all about different. It's a sweet floral. Again, this one I feel like will do well in the heat of the summer 🙂
Good morning! 🤗 Me too, today is going to be a "warm day" for us, clocking in at 45 F for the high...that's still too cold for me to feel Springy, let alone tropical. But I do the same...I'll buy them now/soon as they go on sales that I like, so then I'll be prepared when I am ready to wear them. I don't blame anyone for not liking the sunscreen/coconut husk kinds of scents. I personally do like them but I feel like they can be more of an acquired taste, and as for actual sunscreen smell, I used to not like it. I only started getting more into it more recently as I've become more and more one of those people who impatiently waits for hot summer days sitting on the porch swing! 😁 Coco Paradise I skipped on as well because I smelled the coconut/suntan scent in it, but more drawn out on my skin it was giving a beachy floral like tiare or something that I didn't like on myself. I hear ya on Frosted Coconut Snowball, that coconut scent is really interesting to me because even though it's coconut, they seemed to do a really good job making sure it didn't smell like a tropical coconut. It's more of a cozy, sweet coconut that suits colder weather appropriately. 🥥🧣🧦
I love hearing what you smelled the most in a fragrance, and how it differs or is the same as what I noticed. Again with body chemistry and different noses really playing a part in what/how we smell! Now we know why BBW makes so many different fragrances! I really did not like Sea Salt Coast, but had I smelled the sandalwood be sweet like you noticed, I probably would have enjoyed it more! 💧 With the Water Lily Springs, I think it's one of those scents that I really want to enjoy but I just know that if I go to wear it, I'll catch whiffs of it and think, "Ugh, someone smells perfumey...oh wait that's me I gotta wash it off!" 😅
I love Bahamas (Top 5 B&BW fave!), but I stocked up on it last year. The only body care I’ve picked up in 2024 are Sweetheart Cherry’s FFM and body cream. I used rewards for both. Great overview of the new ones, Melissa! I enjoy your videos.
I am enjoying the last weeks of winter, not looking forward to hot weather at all 🥵 I have meet me in Miami my son gave me it for Christmas 😊and I like it. I also have sweet heart cherry it smells good but definitely not long lasting 🙁. Thanks Melissa for reviewing these scents. 🤗💕

I am just about ready for tropical. I am not a winter girl, but fortunately I live in Savannah, GA so winter is pretty mild for us. This winter in particular has had considerably more sunny days than normal so that was really nice.
The tropical destinations line is one of the few lines from B&BW where I usually like all the scents. I definitely picked up Meet Me In Miami in Dec and am looking forward to start wearing it soon. I also picked up Waikiki Coconut and still have some Fiji Guavatini and Bahamas Banana Flower. I really like the new Thailand Kiwi. I was bummed because I was hearing that they weren't coming out at all with any lotion or cream in that scent, but just recently I heard a different employee say that they ARE getting it in a moisturizer but it has just been delayed. Better late than never! Oddly since I love tropicals, I did NOT love Tropidelic. Idk what it was, but it just smelled off to me somehow. I didn't really see a connection between Tropidelic and Bahamas, but I may not have stayed with Tropidelic long enough to get that far. It was just weird to me. Thank you for your video!

I didnt like tropidelic or calypso clementine. Malibu one smells so similar to Hibiscus Paradise to me. I really love the sweet kiwi and sweetheart cherry. And the online exclusive pineapple mango is really good too 😊
We may have similar tastes, because that's how I feel so far with the new Spring scents! Tropidelic and Calypso Clementine don't smell like scents that I'd like to wear. I forgot about Hibiscus Paradise but yes, I also see the similarity. I feel like the Hibiscus Paradise was like a creamier, softer version of Malibu. I grabbed a shower gel of the Kiwi with a reward. To me, it smelled slightly of generic fruit when I smelled it in stores but now that I've smelled it at home, it smells amazing! 🥝 I can't wait to use it! I sure wish it had a lotion or cream to go with it!

Out of all the scents here, the Miami one sounds the most complex and layered.
If you don't like two of the FFMs that you bought and mentioned you weren't going to wear them, what will you do with them now? Curious.
I either give it to a family member (lucky for me, my in-laws love floral scents which I'm not as into, so it works well!) Otherwise I will save it and donate it to the giving tree at Christmastime (teen girls often ask for body care/fragrance/BBW) or I will sell it on my eBay shop.

Actually, I don't think I did try that one! The cherry scent by DSSC I've tried was the Chocolate Dipped Cherries and I loved it. It gives me high hopes for other his other cherry scents too. 🍒 If you try it, you'll have to let me know how you like it!
Why won't you wear the Tropidelic? Are you returning it?
I was saying in the vid that it's just not a me scent because of body chemistry/personal preference. What I do with any scents I don't like for myself is either give it to a family member (mine or Jose's family) or I will donate it at Christmastime to the Giving Tree (lots of teens ask for fragrance/BBW in my area) or I will sell it in my eBay shop. I don't ever return stuff, especially if I've tried/used it. 😊

Tropidelic only smells good on men. Every demo I’ve done in the various body care modes that fragrance has off-gassed a terrible, funky gardenia note on women, but on men it takes on a nuanced scent leaning into the fresh.
I really wanted to love Tropidelic but it's too heavy for me personally. I am completely in love with Calypso Clementine !!! It's so light and fresh, perfect for winter bla days to brighten my spirits. I am looking forward to picking up Hello Beautiful this week when it's available.
Agreed, I don't think the Tropidelic will be something I want to smell like, although I do appreciate the creation of the scent if you know what I mean!
