Enderal is a total conversion for TES V: Skyrim: a game modification that is set in its own world with its own landscape, lore and story. It offers an immersive open world, all for the player to explore, overhauled skill systems and gameplay mechanics and a dark, psychological storyline with believable characters.
Enderal is free and can be played by anyone owning a legal copy of TES V: Skyrim. (No DLCs are necessary.) It is developed non-commercially by SureAI, the team behind the renowned Oblivion mod "Nehrim: At Fate´s Edge" (and various other projects).

Yeah, some vanilla Skyrim actors are in this mod. When you hear "you killed us all, you damn fool"- pretty sure that's the guy who plays Sheogorath in vanilla. Also it has Kevin Spacey.

The modding of game has risen to a whole new level with Skyrim. What the best thing with modding is that people create stuff for fun. You can really feel that when people create mods like these, they really did put their hearth into it since they do it only for FUN and not for the money and stuff like that. It's like when a kid builds something out of lego. Unlike most of triple A games from EA and Ubisoft.
If only the combat could be modded to be entertaining.

Finished this game recently and just here to try stave off my post-completion depression. It was fucking incredible, definitely as blockbuster as this trailer makes it seem.

I had waaaay more fun with this conversion than with Skyrim and it's multiple playthroughs. The protagonist feels like a genuine human caught up in the grand scheme of things, Jespar feels like a real guy in our world and the writing is just amazing. Voice acting I can't stress enough. The locations, the stuff, the writing...everything is just too amazing. Thank you guys, for making this.

Enderal also at some parts has shitty voice acting and some lines aren't even mastered/leveled properly, imo Skyrim tends to be more consistently decent then Enderals highs and lows in voice acting
@@KoryLunaa C'mon, surely you can accept these silly things for a mod created by a bunch of fans. I really want SureAI to continue this series in a new engine. This way they can make a standalone series and can get a good publisher to publish their work.
@@subhankarbaral9236 Nah, Flower's right. Enderal's my favorite rpg but there are lows in voice acting. (LUCKILY, the devs know this, and the bad voice acting is reserved for petty NPCs and what not, so i don't find it to detract anything.)
That said, if they DID continue this in its own engine i'd play it. 100%. Wishful thinking though, Enderal required the use of a lot of skyrim assets and basic gameplay functions, so i am unsure if they could pull it off from scratch. If they could though, i'd love it.

After Enderal all past, present and future RPGs temporarily pale in comparison. They just feel imperfect. The amount of emotional philosophical and psychological depth in Enderal is beyond description. A true pinnacle of RPG one will remember forever.
The world is amazing, voice acting is PROFESSIONAL, the leveling system, the stories are deep and VERY well made. They hold your atention. All and all, it's an incredible game. In my opinion, even better than Skyrim or Oblivion or even Fallout. Congratulations guys! You are awesome and have a bright future ahead of you!

To the whole SureAI team and everyone involved in creating Enderal - I've just finished main storyline for the first time. This "mod" is actually one of the best RPG's i've seen in recent years. I would say even on par with Witcher 3. Every aspect of Skyrim is enhanced, and more enjoyable. Voice acting is great. The music is just amazing. The story... I loved it. It's not just about defeating Big Bad Evil Guy. It is interesting, deep, captivating and sometimes encourages reflection on real problems in such subtle way it doesn't break immersion and only deepens it.

lol yea, even the trailer is powerful. I've watched it, at least, a dozen times. Every time I suggest this game to someone I have to find this vid to post and always end up watching it all over again. Quite possibly the best game I've played in years.

Story, world, quests, music, side-characters, main villain and the ending... EVERYTHING IS MASTERFULLY CRAFTED. If you like RPG's, excellent stories and games as general then you'll 100% love this

I like how this trailer spoils all the plot twists, but you don't remember it while playing, so it doesn't spoil after all.
Thing is, many of the plottwists are set in a completely different light when encountered. Which makes them a double twist, I'd say^^
Thank you for saying this. I was wondering if it was spilling some notable moments just by how dramatic the tone was. I'm glad they at least pared those lines with the scenery shots more than cinematics. I try to avoid spoilers so I guess it's a mercy I'm stoned enough to be forgetful. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
@@Sabbathtage Yeah, this is old, but I just wanted to appreciate how the identity of the attackers on the city is not revealed, and you cannot really tell that it's Sha'Rim being decapitated. Little things like that make for a good trailer without spoilers :D

Thank You - for the best RPG adventure in my whole life. I finished the game after 86 hours and it was the best gaming experience i ever had - voice acting, plot, level design, music, everything was so brilliant!

Amazing piece. I haven't felt this much excitement for playing a new game since I first played Fallout 3 & Skyrim. This is a perfect mix of Dragon Age storytelling, Witcher weapon/magic depth, Fable linear RPG map immersion & overall amazing voice acting. Thank you for making this.
Please, for the love of the gods, make full standalone games in the future. This mod is the single most incredible thing I've played in years, but it's bogged down by Skyrim's myriad of technical problems. I've had 6 crashes in the past day, and while it doesn't take long to load back into my last save it's still frustrating.
Agreed. I may be playing some other games in meantime while this gets patched. Still, when I finish it, I'll be highly tempted to donate to these mod creators.
I would buy the shit out of anything these guys are willing to put out if it's made with a homebrew engine.
5 years later, but I just played it on Special Edition and it was pretty stable. Got a small handful of crashes but loading times were very quick so not really an issue.
Having finished Enderal I can say 2 things: Nico Lietzau's creation is in TOP3 of all games I've ever played. And regarding the teaser: this is the most complete, best and telltale teaser of Enderal that really encapsulates the story. Great job!

If this was a game I had to pay for, I wouldn't hesitate for a second. There is so much about this that blows my mind, I'm flabbergasted by the fact that this is a fan creation.
The trailer doesn't do it any justice, so do yourself a favor and play this masterpiece. It's super easy to download and install and you will NOT regret it.

The story and characters were so good, I actually cried during the end of this game. That never happens to me...
I cant even listen to the soundtrack without getting kind of nostalgic.
It's succeed also in my case, wonderful characters, music and the story is better than Skyrim one. In this days, I'm thinking about it like an obsession after I finished it 3 days ago.
When Calia says 'You can stop it. You can save us' I burst crying every time. This is something neither TES nor Mass Effect could do.

This is my favourite game I’ve played, by far - thank you so damn much for this amazing experience, I laugh, cry, out loud while playing it, am invested in every character and even had to read every book out of held interest - on my 4th playthrough with 350 hours - I cannot wait for your next project, sincerely - it’s now gonna be one of the most important days of the next _ years

Its been a week since i finished enderal for the 2nd time. Still depressed and cant find fun in any other game or story. This was really something else. So sad how so many people dont know about this game. Im literally going around recommending it to all my friends who have any interest in story games and forums, no other game gave me the push to do that ever. Enderal is more than just a game, it's an experience far exceeding the original Skyrim, even though many people still don't know that this existed.
And the fact that all of this was made using buggy Skyrim's engine is just mind-blowing.
I know the only major flaw I see in enderal is the combat but that makes sense since Skyrim always had shitty combat

Have you ever use Creation Kit?
I won't argue that CK is the most open-source game engine out there, and you could modify anything in the game without much of a hassle. But the engine itself is notorious for being buggy and tend to crash frequently for no reason.
Keep in mind that SureAI made this game from scratch using basic Skyrim's assets, and also using the original Skyrim's CK, not the upgraded Fallout 4/SE CK.

This game and the stories behind it were really just so amazing. It's one of those games I love, but it was so memorable that I don't think I could replay it any time soon. Even a year later, I have no desire to go back to the world 'cuz of all the things I experienced are still fresh in my mind. An absolutely underated hidden gem.
One year i've finished it, always the best game.., no, best experience with a video game for me, really like a journey for a moment, more than anothers games.
And Tealor Arantheal is the best character I've seen in a video game, with charisma, presence, it's crazy. From the first meeting, I was charmed. I obeyed him without even thinking, like under hypnosis. Fate is fate I presume ! Amazing how well it fits into the script. Like the rest, the characters are excellent, well written, "alive".
also thanks to the talent of the dubbing actors.

Man holy shit... this is excatly the kind of creativity and obscurity I kind of missed from Skyrim. They did it with Oblivion but Skyrim was so.. uninspiring.. but this, shit, you've managed to outdo Oblivion x10, and this simple mod is by far superior from most triple A games we see today. Seriousily you should make your own games. You'd defindly be able to get a lot of kickstarter money, you guys are onto something great, so reach for the skies, because if this is what you can make from another game's enginge, then I can't even begin to imagine what you could do with your own engine. Holy shit.

Spoilers:
This game got me in my feels 3 times
1. I couldn't save jasper
2. The ending to the quest with Rynéus had me feeling down for an entire week
3: When Tharaêl jumped off the cliff after The Father boss fight (Which was frickin awesome) that had me in the feels cause I really liked him.
4. (Extra) The words "Gimme a nice crisp piece of meat!" are burned in my head

You can save Jespar if you romance him instead of Calia
You can dave Tharael if you don't kill Qalian aka Nailaq

I`ve played alot of rpgs through my life and i love many rpg`s but this Fan creation is quite dear to my hearth now especially when i went to Frostcliff tavern and also the mission with esme, i truly fell in love with the game and im happy for its making. Truly an awesome creation and such beautiful narration. I love many of the characters you meet, can`t wait to see what SureAI does next
Enderal is so damn good it should be the thorn in BGS's side, it proves that an epic RPG really CAN be made in this weird outdated engine and highlights the core points in BGS's incompetence : writing and programming. (there was definitely a lot of custom scripting involved in the 'cinematic' and dialogues)
I can only dream of the day Beth gets up to the level of quality that SureAI delivered.

Funfact Tealor Arantheal has the same voice actor in english and german :) Unfortunately there will be no voice/subtitles mixes because the german and english dialogues have some difference.

This is quality. Yesterday night finished the game, and I didn't know how to respond, quite a good 2 month campaign, holy shit. :3 Beats even Skyrim, lol
By far this is absolutely the most insane and best quality mod I have seen in a long time and probably at this moment the best of all time. This mod looks so amazing and I am going to play it a ton. I am so excited and happy and whoever did this deserves a gold medal of some sort.

Playing this right now, I just want to say. I LOVE the "philosophy" aspect of all this. Finding these in games/movies is rare. This, and the movie "The Man from Earth" are all I wanted. And when you have a sort of, "deep conversation" with someone I like how they go to a fitting place or sit, etc. I fucking love this so far. so, THANK YOU

I feel a bit low-spirited...
I believe I was one of the first English speaking voice actors to support this project.
I was used in Enderals very first Dev blog, in which there were just two voice actors.
There were only positive things written in the comment section on that video regarding the voices.
Yet, unfortunately for me, the last I heard from SureAi was "recordings for the English VA probably won't
start before fall this year! We'll get in touch with you" That was in 2014.
I just really want to know what happened.
Hey Mordred, I am not part of SureAI, so I don't what exactly happened, but keep in mind that mistakes will occour pretty much always. Especially if it's a project of this scope. If you really want to know, you should get in touch with SureAI via mail. You can find the mail adress on their website. The public youtube comment section doesn't seem like the right place for a matter like this. They are working on a DLC right now, so maybe they are still in need of further Voice Actors.

I didn't get your E-Mails - which adress did you send them to? Regarding the issue: First off, apologies. The reason for this is that I formatted my PC which contained the spreadsheet with all the English voice actors contact data (We started contacting voice actors in 2014 and made casting calls in 2015). I thought I had it backed up on dropbox, but I didn't. I tried to go through all the correspondences I had had in the past two years, but I didn't find everyone - I think you're not the only one we didn't get back to. Again, I'm very sorry for this. However, there are still open roles for the DLC! Just shoot us an E-Mail to sureaiteam@googlemail.com if you're still interested. :-)
