GULLFOSS Waterfall | Driving F - Roads to LANDMANNALAUGAR Iceland Day 3

- We started off our day at Gullfoss waterfall then continued our journey driving the F - Roads to get to Landmannalaugar! The safest route to take is from F 26 to F208 to F224. A 4x4 is highly recommended especially if you plan to cross the rivers close to Landmannalaugar.

Thanks but I was actually up top of Gullfoss and then went to the bottom to get the shots! No drones allowed there.

I was looking so much for a video like this and so glad for the river footage. We are visiting mid June and renting a Rav 4.. seeing the duster cross has given me some hope else I was assuming I need a land cruiser to cross these rivers! Thank you !

hey! very nice video! i watched the campertour video too, seems you had the "highlander1"? we had the "highlander2" last march and will have it again this august. interesting to see your experience on those "f-roads". actually the f208 is considered the "easiest of all f-roads" lol... but maybe they improved it after your trip, we will find out... we worry a lot about the rivercrossing at landmannalaugar. in your videos it looks "knee deep", so i think that is the limit of the campervan (40-50cm). but seems the van worked well. did you do any other rivercrossings? well guess i have to watch more of your videos to find out :-D

6:39 The brown muddy water could be because of an increase in glacial melting water due to increased vulcanic activity in the underground. This can be super dangerous if crossing big streams or traversing bridges on the highway ring south. COol vid, cool van, cool couple :)

Hello, the Land Cruiser would be fine on these roads, we actually saw quite a few of them and they even had no problem crossing the river in Landmannalaugar. Enjoy your trip!! 👍
