For Go Pros they make a handle bar mount for motorcycles and such. It works perfectly mounted on a back stay, but the angle can be a bit weird at first.
Mate, great video.... Is the water at Varese always flat. I was watching the Aus eight train there and it always looks great. Just one question. How did you mount the GoPro on the bow at that level.... and what where the "strings" from either side of the boat from the bowmans rigger?
It's strange technique though they tend to only start leaning as they're reaching half slide, I wandered is it so they can increase their stroke per minute even further
I have one question for the dutch, WHY DONT THE USE THE flat blade with a flat surface on the blade, they've always used the big old blade with the really curved blade
They are the Dutch Olympic Mens Eight.... you're a Melbourne school girl? Rowing on the Yarra for MLC or St Cats doesn't mean you have the right to form an opinion on what they are doing right or wrong....despite what you're told on a Wednesday afternoon in your J16 quad. What in your right mind gives you the right to comment on their technique?
WTF are you talking about? It's an stern coxed Empacher? Why would they have "strings" going to the bow? Since when has any boat had a fin at the bow end of the boat? Even if they they were some mechanism to control steering why would they be 4 feet off the water? Have you ever been in a rowing boat? You should stick to watching glee....
You are GREAT guys just keep rowing!

2 things.
1. The shot of the guy rowing from the side at 1:26 is awesome
2. How did you mount it in all of those different positions?

MUY BUENO DE ARGENTINA {TIGRE CUNA DEL REMO ARGENTINO}
het gevoel van cadans. mooi!
At a guess, ropes to stop the camera pole from bouncing around as the boat goes from stroke to stroke
what was the mount you used to put on the riggers?
Awesome video, please share if you would: video camera, video editing software used in the making of this video. Nice job!
What did you use to set this up on the bow? i want to try this. How did you connect it to the boat safely?
they ARE medal material
1:05 ... Anyone know what the ribbon things are over the canvas?
somebody knows why they use those blades? they are more curved than normal ones. aren't they?
what did holland come this year in the olympics ?

Are you an olympic rowing coach? However i suppose they only came 5th.
What's with the Australian rowing zootie? :P
why dont they back the blade in? they are all driving before they put the blade in the water
why does one of them have a aus zoot suit
cool
The blades are put too shallow go deeper
maybe it is just the video, they look like the normal concept2 model to me...
guessing to make sure the camera doesnt fall in the water and get lost :L

toch vind ik die 3e stop van simon maar matig, buigt bij de catch nog een heel stuk verder in
Doesn't take a coach to notice technical error
