Sarah your work is genius. I remember my class history of photography in college and this brought me back. The process is tedious but the image is the reward! Congratulations amazing work.
Gorgeous, stunning work! A delight to the senses all around! So glad you made this short film on the intricacies, history and details that went into this process.
Great wet plate work! Happy to see what you guys put together. And it is great to see the portraits printed in that huge size! This is where tintypes outshine lots of other mediums. I always enjoy exhibitions where mine are printed big. But your sizes are another level. Hope to see them some day in person.
As someone who is just starting to learn the wet plate collodion process, it was amazing to see someone so adept at the process showcasing their workflow like this!
This is very impressive and I can’t wait for season 2 but can we take a moment to acknowledge how in addition to being so talented Sarah is also insanely gorgeous!
These are awsum i like to look at al different types of developing of photos and id hv to say this way captures the essence of the photo for Yellowstone amazingly absolutely brilliant work
This is just beautiful to see one of a kind photography i love it im a pro photographer and i learn this in my photlgraphy class . most of this chemicals are very rere now. And expensive
While the Tintype Photograph process is quite captivating, I believe something important was missing here - the photographer's contemporary eye couldn't travel back in time and reflect in the image. There's even a kind of digital look in the final image. I'm not sure if it was the clothing, the poses, perhaps too stylized and not spontaneous enough, but something is lacking in the image-capturing process or in a process that doesn't contribute to the final result.

True - but my vote has to go to Kelly Reilly as the most captivating. She has something that just draws the eye to her.

Fantastic Sarah!!, your work is inspiring. Which camera did you shoot with? Thanks Coco

I'd like to see a flashback of when Rip and Beth first meet as teens.
I hope we get to see all the photos that were taken over the next few weeks.
