That was such an interesting video. I have been using the Ez V-select for a few years now (after switching from T-tech and Kwadron) and I haven't looked back. I love them,and the price is amazing. Plus the little foam tips that they sell make them even more comfortable. These other companies had better up their game or they are going to get left behind. Working on my own in my own studio sometimes makes it difficult to be able to afford to try out all the different cartridges on the market, and I find I don’t stick to one brand and always second guessing due to other artists opinions. Thankyou for providing non biased reviews, and doing ‘the dirty work’ for us all ❤

Hello. I congratulate you on the idea, strength, and determination, but above all BIG COJONES. You've publicly said many things that many people only whisper about. Unfortunately, many tattoo artists are too lazy to test other companies. They blindly believe what others say. I missed one category in your test: the price to quality ratio. I think that EZ and Mast could rank very high in the overall result. I think you could make another video about it ;) Personally, I like both brands, but I use Mast because I love their needles and machines (Mast Lancer is crazy!). I've worked with many of the needles from your test and many others. I often test equipment and try to find the best, not just the one that's advertised. Finally, I'll share two interesting facts about needles: - Once I ordered the same sets from EZ and Elitte (first generations), and they were sent from China from the same address ;) - I think there are at most 3 needle manufacturers in China, and they produce various types - even in your test where the parts shapes are the same but, for example, some needles are harder than others. It depends on that in China if you want to order anything, they ask how much money you have and how many parts you want for it… so if someone wants to pay less, they get softer needles, etc. If you want to talk more, message me @zydek_tattoo, I have some more knowledge on this subject. Here's the translation of the text into English: I'll provide some historical and technical facts: - The first cartridges were created by Cheyenne, and they also created the first membranes ;) to this day, their quality is a benchmark for all manufacturers in the market; - The first alternatives were created by T-Tech, (they were and are excellent) in the first generation of white cartridges, a rubber band that presses them to the nozzle was the needle stabilizer - probably the best method although for me it might be possible to combine the membrane with a rubber band ;) - The first Chinese cartridges were modeled after T-Tech - the first EZ white ones are their copy, Elite, etc; - Kwadron once had a half membrane that worked like the rubber band; - For me, there are many known Kwadron gifts of similar quality in plastic and needles a bit weaker but still good, for 1/3 of the price ;) the only difference is the color of the plastic; - With many RL and RS cartridges, the stabilizer placed in the middle works very poorly, whether it is there or not, you can deal with it by slightly bending the needles down the same with magnums that make noise; - On the internet, it's easy to find manufacturers in China who will package their cartridges in a box with your name etc. That's why it's easy to find a lot of cartridges on the market that look the same ;) - With Chinese "manufacturers", you often see identical cartridges differing only in color and name - you just need to spend an evening analyzing pictures and paying attention to details ;) it shows that they are produced in one factory. - To create something new, you have to pay them extra (molds for plastic injection, quality, better materials, etc) but most people prefer to buy ready-made elements choosing from a catalog of what is available.

I like to use Kwadron needles because of their sharpness needles, and Cheyenne for their smooth and consistent tension membrane . Also consider brands that easy to order various configurations.

But we would be really interested to know which other brands produce their cartridges at our factory? Do they sneak in at night? :)
As i have told before i will not tell any names, BUT! if the factory in India for example is not producing them to anyone else, than someone made a perfect copy ;)
@@lakytattoo copies of our products ar very common - both machines and cartridges. Our facility in India is owned by our company MT.DERM, so we would be the first to know, if they would produce something for anyone else.
@@lakytattoo interesting! Well what sets us apart is the mostly manual assembly and quality control of each step. So the copies have to offer the same continuos performance first. :)
Needed this currently an apprentice and having no idea what needles are the best to be used this has helped massively although would of liked to see black claw needles in this as they are an expensive brand but supposed to be really good. Thank you for this informative video.

I like to use Kwadron needles because of their sharpness needles, and Cheyenne for their smooth and consistent tension membrane . Also consider brands that easy to order various configurations.

Hey Maksims, thank you for the detailed review. We appreciate the judgement and especially the historical background and being mentioned as the inventors of the tattoo cartridge. But we would be really interested to know which other brands produce their cartridges at our factory? Do they sneak in at night? :)
As i have told before i will not tell any names, BUT! if the factory in India for example is not producing them to anyone else, than someone made a perfect copy ;)
@@lakytattoo copies of our products ar very common - both machines and cartridges. Our facility in India is owned by our company MT.DERM, so we would be the first to know, if they would produce something for anyone else.

@@lakytattoo interesting! Well what sets us apart is the mostly manual assembly and quality control of each step. So the copies have to offer the same continuos performance first. :)

Needed this currently an apprentice and having no idea what needles are the best to be used this has helped massively although would of liked to see black claw needles in this as they are an expensive brand but supposed to be really good. Thank you for this informative video.
