A lot of the time when you turn state the United States doesn't have to put that in the criminal docket it's possible to snitch on somebody and not end up on paperwork unless if you have to testify in court

No paper work is needed. All you have to do for the police is point them in the right direction. They can gather the evidence on their own. I hate when people say prove I'm a snitch and tell you to look up their case. The reality is, all you to do is look at the person's sentence. If the charges and the sentence do not add up, you are a snitch.
Well I study law adamantly and what you just said is 99% false. Black people sentencing NEVER add up to the crime. Plus they have all types of good behavior programs & you can get released early. If snitching is the only element of the criminal justice system you focus on, you shouldn't give out legal advice. Every case is different. Nobody gets the exact same sentencing. Some of the sentencing guidelines are mandatory but the judge also has discretion. And if I point the cops in the direction of the person I know hurt a CHILD or one of my family members, would that make me a snitch? And there still has to be some PROOF that he pointed them in the right direction. we don't suppose to just make up shit & run with it as if it's official. Where is the evidence?
That wasn't my point, for one. I don't give two farts about who is a snitch. I'm not involved in the criminal life. But if the police have you dead to rights, especially if you're black, and you get the minimum sentence, you were working with state. He was supposedly at the highest level the operation, according to him, and ended up serving 3 years. John Gotti couldn't even pull that off, and he's white and rich. These people have you on drugs and a gun, and you walk after 3 years. I know people will possibly never see the light of day after being busted for just drugs. I know one guy from high school who did 3 years for being busted with a few prescription pills, and yes I said a few. So, don't tell me about law school, buddy.

Yo I'm from the Chi but I got fam in Red Hook and Fort Green, BK. My grandpops and uncles left the South during the great migration and most of them settled in the Chi, NYC and Detroit. Cooperating with law enforcement is Co-Operating. 99% of the time it means you have to be a Ci (confidential informant). or in other words - RAT. Now cooperation can also be against your own self. Cooperating against yourself saves the d.a. and the courts the time, money, and resources it would take for you to stand trial, so in exchange, they offer you a lesser sentence. They only give the maximum sentence when you take them to trial and make the spend time and money and you lose. Then they throw the book at you. I cought a fed case for guns 10 years ago and "cooperated" against myself for a far lesser sentence, yet no one got indicted or went to jail but ME.
