An Old Fashioned is my absolute favorite cocktail, so I must get my nose on this.
Hi Arlene! Ooo, thanks for putting this on my radar. I have a decant of Single Malt that was a love at first sniff, so I’m hopeful this will mirror that. My notes on Single Malt were “boozy tobacco, slightly sweet, similar vibe to SDV and Angels’ Share.”

I'm dying waiting for the new angel share flanker. Im getting the old fashioned in a couple days. Can't wait to try it.

I went to Nederland this last week and I decided to try Dutch perfumes I was intrigued by. I had a "love at first sniff" (which never happens to me, I always need to process scents for a long time,) with Baruti Hot Cotton. I love this house, and own few of them, but this last one is just brilliant. It literally smells like a laundry room, with hot irons steaming, a delightful clean vibe that is also elevated enough to be considered a serious perfume. If you get a chance to try it, let us know your impressions...
I blind bought it for my son and he’s not crazy about it but his gf absolutely loves it! To the point of following him around sniffing his neck. I’ve yet to smell it. I’m very curious. I sure appreciate your honest reviews.

When I bought Angel’s share a few years ago, it was 285 CAD，now it is 358 for old fashioned. 😅

I also love warm boozy scents. I highly recommend Spiritcask by Jorum (a small perfumerie based in Scotland).
I loved the opening notes of Angel's Share (cinnamon apple pie) but I really didn't care for the drydown. I wonder if I would have the same experience with Old Fashioned? I'm going to have to test it out if I can find it in store somewhere...
Did you ever smell D.S. & Durga's Spirit of the Glen (now discontinued)? It was supposed to smell of Glenlivet, a single malt scotch whisky. I was wondering how they'd compare. I guess Old Fashioned would be more of a cocktail versus scotch served neat, but I was wondering.
