"What's the point of a dream if you don't flirt with it a little bit" This got me thinking that I need to get back to my hobbies and do what really makes me happy.
I think we're talking about a theater arts girl here, @@Aidan_Au. We're not talking about a tech girl going with the California to Texas tech company migrations.
It's really interesting to see the perspectives of others when it comes to these topics. I was born and raised in NYC, and currently live here, but this summer I am moving from NYC to Cali, as it's always been my dream to live out there because God knows how tired I am of this city. In the same breath, it's also a gentle reminder that sometimes we get so numb and tired of the places that we've spend our whole lives in, we forget just how beautiful these places really are and that other people would do anything to be in such a similar position. Thank you for that reminder.
One thing I like abt the US is if you hate one place you can always move over to another corner of the country and start anew. The USA is just so vast.
Honestly man, I am so excited to see you pursue your passion for filmmaking more rigorously. You have the right amount of eccentricity and sarcasm hard-baked into your videos that I think you could really capitalize on paradox that is NYC's brutalist beauty. I am super excited to see what cinematic insights are ahead :)
I'm fascinated by how much you have accomplished, weirdly, you inspire me to become better at school so one day I can achieve at least half of what you have.
Every time I watch you, I am always inspired to pursue my dream of becoming a programmer. Thank you, I hope you have more videos to upload about the life of a programmer. -from Philippines
It's just so good watch Joma's videos, they motivate me to want more and study more. I hope I'll find some good opportunities in Brazil and make my dreams come true :)
NYC is just so delicate that every block can sense differently. It’s vertical not just in terms of buildings but also the atmosphere, rather than spanning horizontally like other places in us
As someone who grew up in Ny, its less of a rose colored lense for me. It feels loud sirens, pressing, and everything is in your face. I think this type of magical romanticized feeling happens when you are in a new city that you’ve seen before in films you’ve heard of. I’ve experienced this when I lived abroad too. And have moved back to Ny and not feeling it but also trying to experience that awe that I hear from others that come here. I’ve always wondered abt LA and west coast sunshine too. I’m trying to see if I can appreciate ny for what is but maybe I need to go away and then come back to it

hearing you talk about your dreams. Really made me think about working even harder to fulfill mine. I hope you achieve what you want to achieve. I’m from nyc myself, it is very endearing.
Can relate to this so much - something about living in NYC for a while that makes you understand why you love the place. Can't say if it's that I'm "flirting with my dream", but I'm happy doing what I do now. Cool to see you've also dipped into mechanical keyboards 🤓
Is it the shape of his face and the nose that resembles the actor? I rarely watch his videos but when I do I always knew he looked like someone but couldn’t pinpoint who.

Well if you're in your 20's and you have the opportunity, why not? It's nice to step out of your bubble and then explore a new place if there's a chance. You grow so much from that. If NY is not the place in the future, at least you have lived and explored a place outside of where you were from. I may not move to NY, but would love to visit. Was supposed to visit before, but then the pandemic hit and kinda put a halt on traveling....but I may do so soon! Thanks for sharing!

So true

he likes his girlfriend so much that he's willing to follow her to NY, but at the same time he doesn't like her enough to live with her😂
That's a joke 😂
ghapa ghap
He is just a simp
Maybe, she does not want to live with him right now.
Developers would understand
Joma is the only person to move from a high-tax state to another high-tax state
*the
yeah, rich kids whim
I’m going from Cali to nyc. But I work in airplanes lol

@Flako I don't understand the obsession with tax rate either. Most high income states are also high tax states.

@@andrewliang6041 That's right. You still don't know his true reasons to move to NYC after watching the whole video.
It's all about a girl, dummy. No fool would live in New York if not for romantic reasons. He was just beating around the bush with us.
