Three possible routes: a) Same villains, with this new power-up making them all do some form of crazy thing. b) Segway into the new manga sagas through the other 3 DLC chapters (Moro, Granolah, Gas) to segway into Ultra Ego. c) More focus on Dragon Ball Heroes-style, focusing more on powering up and eventually defeating Fu or someone from the Heroes OC villain gallery.

Interesting thing to note is that this 'ultra super villian' power affects Vegeta in SSG. In Xenoverse 1, Goku mentions that the villianous mode power can't control him because he had access to god power. Beerus not being under Demigra's control backs this up. While Goku Black and Zamasu used the super villian power in dlc 4 story, it's presumably because they allowed themselves to be affected. The question here is: did SSG Vegeta allow himself to affected, of could this new power be enough even to corrupt divine beings? If it's the later, then we're in trouble if we get 'Ultra Super Villian Beerus'

I also wish they did another Infinite History mode. That was easily one of the best pieces of DLC content they added. And with the new characters and more XV lore for the XV version of Fuu, there could be a lot more to do with an Infinite History 2.
The game will never die. However, I do like that XV2 is doing something on its own, even if you could look at it as a remake of characters they already did. They could add some moves on Rosé that they didn't Prior. Like the Black Power Ball, or the Scythe... I know there was a "leak" about the Scythe being found in XV2 code or something like that, but it would be really cool to see it in a Console game and not just the Mobile Games. (Yes Ik FighterZ Goku Black Lv 3 shows the Scythe, but Im talking about Using it, think Ultra Rosé from Legends. I think it would be a sick Ultimate attack that functions like SoH, but able to fire out a ranged attack, whether that be scythe slashes or a rift) All in all, I like this, and hopefully when Part 1 of the 4 DLCs release, its actually ends up a very successful DLC. I've returned back to Xenoverse 2 after a long time, one day hopefully they expand upon the number of Instructors u can train under, although unlikely, anytime i see Fu i think about the extra story stuff where u get some parts harder or easier with those Masters u choose as a Mentor, some of them are quite funny.

What’s wrong with buying this as dlc? I see a lot of people in the comments hating and saying this game is dead and buying dlc is scummy but it’s a live service game that needs to make its money. At the end of the day they’re adding content for a game we all enjoyed playing. Im guessing theres a stronger version of villainous mode. Looking at how Vegeta's eyes are, that version of villainous mode msut have been able to power him up to ssj god during the Beerus arc. Leading to another majin Vegeta situation.

Nah, Sparking Zero isn't competition for Xenoverse. They offer 2 completely different game experiences. Xenoverse is completely unique compared to other dragon ball games we've had. Sparking Zero is just gonna be more arena fighters.
It’s not gonna truly die until xenoverse three. They are fundamentally different games and while everyone definitely gonna move to sparking zero there is a lot worth going back time to time specifically for customization of personal character. And would be massive mistake if they do not try do sparking zero, bring xenoverse three and make it just bigger more races like androids, maybe same race as the trio of danger, maybe Ginyu force Customization where you’re character is random xenos from that force, maybe daemon realm characters too using this as way to be free and cleansed from wrong doing. If they go hard on customization, non canon events, new original characters and story lines and maybe better what ifs and what if characters like ssj3 broly. Hell bring dark star ssj4 broly in the game, make up things like 6th for. Frieza or even 7th form cooler, if they do this and really try make something new yet customizable then xenoverse will thrive, but they dropped the ball and should let two die so they can make that a reality and make sure dragon ball fans have two avenues of game with one being canon characters to fight each other with high quality characters vs character fun that really feels like dragon ball movie being manipulated in your hands and separated personal game where you make customized characters with any outfit, uniform, species, powers, abilities and transformations that give you a power fantasy in the dragon ball world of what ifs, maybes and unknowns. Would be so fucken awesome
New customization like the fighting style mainly the way the fighter would use light and heavy attacks we could copy from other fighters that are in the game for our custom characters

Theres a lot of things they can do plus still add transformations for races which they owe. Like saiyans great ape or orange form for namekians ect.

What’s wrong with buying this as dlc? I see a lot of people in the comments hating and saying this game is dead and buying dlc is scummy but it’s a live service game that needs to make its money. At the end of the day they’re adding content for a game we all enjoyed playing. Just because a new DB game is coming out doesn’t mean we need to poop on the games that’s been with us for 10 years now. Both games can be liked and fun.
Im guessing theres a stronger version of villainous mode. Looking at how Vegeta's eyes are, that version of villainous mode msut have been able to power him up to ssj god during the Beerus arc. Leading to another majin Vegeta situation.
Fú's been gathering this energy to develop Ultra Super villain and something else... I think he's drifting into the Heroes' iteration of himself...

I just made a new character and played through from the beginning with my friends. Helped them do PQs and stuff to get what they wanted. It was fun.

Nah, Sparking Zero isn't competition for Xenoverse. They offer 2 completely different game experiences. Xenoverse is completely unique compared to other dragon ball games we've had. Sparking Zero is just gonna be more arena fighters.
Xenoverse is literally the skyrim of dragon ball, it never dies and when gets close to dying it gets revived with new patchs and content.
That'd be kinda neat if they started adding manga only content to the game, like Moro and such

It’s not gonna truly die until xenoverse three. They are fundamentally different games and while everyone definitely gonna move to sparking zero there is a lot worth going back time to time specifically for customization of personal character. And would be massive mistake if they do not try do sparking zero, bring xenoverse three and make it just bigger more races like androids, maybe same race as the trio of danger, maybe Ginyu force Customization where you’re character is random xenos from that force, maybe daemon realm characters too using this as way to be free and cleansed from wrong doing. If they go hard on customization, non canon events, new original characters and story lines and maybe better what ifs and what if characters like ssj3 broly. Hell bring dark star ssj4 broly in the game, make up things like 6th for. Frieza or even 7th form cooler, if they do this and really try make something new yet customizable then xenoverse will thrive, but they dropped the ball and should let two die so they can make that a reality and make sure dragon ball fans have two avenues of game with one being canon characters to fight each other with high quality characters vs character fun that really feels like dragon ball movie being manipulated in your hands and separated personal game where you make customized characters with any outfit, uniform, species, powers, abilities and transformations that give you a power fantasy in the dragon ball world of what ifs, maybes and unknowns. Would be so fucken awesome

Finally, playable Zamasu Goku. I don't mean Zamasu that has Goku body, but Goku that has Zamasu body
New customization like the fighting style mainly the way the fighter would use light and heavy attacks we could copy from other fighters that are in the game for our custom characters
All the DLCs have been building upto this new storyline with Fu so I'm glad its now getting somewhere that Fu is doing something
I find the hate this game gets so funny. People are desperate for this game to die, not knowing that a Xenoverse 3 would be one of the worst decisions Bandai could make for a new dragon ball game for several reasons. Tbf it is impressive this game still gets support but I’m all here for it

And for some reason they're gonna do more xv2 content til sparking comes out and sure they can make xv3 when sparking comes out but I can know for sure It'll be a long while til that happens

If you think about it xenoverse 2 has lots of content it could do since it involves traveling to different time lines look at sdbh so it makes sense
They can do cross over with dragon ball heroes which has endless content like Baby absorbing Janemba or Kid buu ect. I wouldn’t mind a new tuffle invasion or budokai tournament where no one fly’s. Theres a lot of things they can do plus still add transformations for races which they owe. Like saiyans great ape or orange form for namekians ect.
