This video led me to admit that I nead therapy, i try to engage as much as I can with my kids but I get easyly angry. All Salah can not heal psychological problems, next to the salah I realized I need to go to a professional. Feels somehow good to admit that. May Allah help all parents.

"Thank Me and your parents: everyone will return to Me for calculation and retribution!"
Surah 31 Ayat 14
Verse in full:
And We have bequeathed a man to be kind to his parents and take care of them, especially the mother, because the mother carries him in her womb, and her weakness increases as the child grows; and she weans him from the breast only after two years. We commanded: "Thank Me and your parents: everyone will return to Me for calculation and retribution!"

قال تعالى (مَّن ذَا الَّذِي يُقْرِضُ اللَّـهَ قَرْضًا حَسَنًا فَيُضَاعِفَهُ لَهُ أَضْعَافًا كَثِيرَةً وَاللَّـهُ يَقْبِضُ وَيَبْسُطُ وَإِلَيْهِ تُرْجَعُونَ

Good session... i had a doubt regarding private information about the adolescent child... why an older cousin should b given that option to tell about it... why not parents... anyone of them... as i suppose older cousins won't explain it in a better way... and might mislead them ... any suggestions about? .. i hope i made my question a little clear ...
Let me tell you. Usually cousins & siblings are similar to age. A parent is way older than a child. So that parent might not be able to explain these things according to that child's mentality. Parents will explain these things in their way like from a married perspective or an adult/middle age perspective. An older cousin/sibling is just a few years older than you. So he/she must have gone through these phases very recently & he/she knows how to deal with it & he/she also knows that ppl younger than him/her might experience this too.
Now you might question our parents were ALSO once young & had these phases. Then why ask a cousin/sibling instead of them. You are right. But our parents had those wayyyy long ago & they kind of forgot about the instinct of their mentality cuz they have entered a lot of different stages of life after their teens & chilhood. Siblings & cousins will be able to understand you more than your parents (But make sure they are good/honest people & they talk a lot about islamic sahih/correct references. Also make sure they are friendly/not grumpy or manipulative. Otherwise it will be problem. In that case, parents will help if they are practicing proper islam. If not, then seek help from a pious & friendly relative or local imam who is willing to help you.) They will be able to explain better as they just had passed puberty. Hope this answers your question.
Now my story. My mom failed when it came to topics like these. She wouldn’t ask how I felt or never questioned my opinion. She would just tell her story which is 0% related to mine & would always praise her & talk about her. I learnt a lot from youtube stuff & very good friends who care for me. I am a female & I don't have female cousins that are near my age. They are like almost 20 years olders than me. I have no older siblings so my scl/clg friends helped me a lot. Thanks to Allah for sending them. May Allah guide my mother to understand ppl more & to realise that not everything is about her & that she doesn’t know everything.

You said "One cannot give what one doesn't have to another one", why do Humans have morally wrong traits ?
