A Great Documentary on one the great persons. Tamil Nadu and Chettair can never forget him. I studied in A C College of Technology in Guindy. I am very much proud to get associated with this world class institute. I remember that Dr Alagappa Chettiar donated a huge fund and this college building now is one the iconic complex for many engineering subjects.

I am very proud to say that I studied BSc ( Geology ) in the Alagappa College from 1961-64 . Dr Chettiar used to bring eminent personalities as the Faculty Members like Prof Alexander Gnanamuthu, Prof Manisundaram, Dr KPK Menon, Dr Manickavasagam Pillai, Dr VSp Manikkam to name a few . I am looking back nostalgically on my college days !

WE have to call him father of the education. Here I have to share one incident .Some women asked Sri Chettiar a separate college for women. He immediately vacated his bungalow and gave it for women's college and stayed in one of the room of engineering collage .There is no alternative for gods except to come personally and take him to the heaven.
