My question is if some on stole the hose to my dry chemical unit while what I am about to say is certainly no longer ul listed: do you have any ideas my thought was to replace the hose with an air tool nozzle I mean would you think if it were to screw it it would possibly work I mean I would imagine you direct the stream but probably might not be as effective as the ul rating thoughts please thank you

When I refill to an appropriate level of water I screw the top back on as tight as human hands possibly and when I recharge them the air goes inside the bottle but the pressure gauge doesn’t go up. I found you can put 1/2 sprinkler drip tubing around the “ muzzle “ and make sure there’s no water in the tank and the hook it up to a hose and since there’s no water in the tank it’ll pressurize the tank and the air in the tank will get compressed and be the compressed air to shoot it out. So that’s how I do it.

    You can now get small water filled fire extinguishers that have a valve to make them spray very fine mist at high pressure and can be used on electrical and fat fires. Wonder if you could buy the value and fit them to your old extinguishers. Next thing on your shopping list is a compressor!

      You want to spray water on a oil/fat fire? Good way to make a fire ball that burns down you house in a matter of minutes. There is several videos made by firefighters on NOT doing this.

      @@abbynormal7036 Your talking about old school water extinguishers, the new ones spray ultra fine water mist where the molecules are far enough apart not to either cause steam on a fat fire or conduct electricity on an electrical fire. • @Simon67316
      @Simon67316 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@abbynormal7036 The water mist technology used by water mist extinguishers allows them to produce over 22 billion water droplets from only 1 litre of water. The droplets are as small as 25 microns in diameter and create an ultra-fine mist which has superior fire-fighting capabilities. The patented nozzle creates water droplets unlike any other extinguisher, producing a mist that leaves almost no trace and no collateral damage and leads to the extinguishers often being referred to as 'dry' water mist. The extinguishers are capable of tackling almost all common fires within the class A, B, C type fires as well as fires involving live electrical equipment of up to 1000V! The unique water mist has the cooling effect of water and creates a "mist curtain" cutting off the oxygen supply. The droplets are so small that they have no adverse reaction on flammable liquids, allowing the extinguishers to be used on class B fires(oil).
      Keep up with technology dear!
