(1) I'm enjoying this show immensely. Don't care how "realistic" the setting is - chemistry between Yin and War is through the roof and their on-screen relationship feels natural and genuine. Amazing stuff. (2) War's performance in the gift basket and dogcoin scenes was pure comedy gold. Both he and Yin slay every scene. (3) I like the setup: Jack blaming Joker and Joker feeling guilty. It's unreasonable for a number of reasons: Jack would never get the bank loan to pay off Boss/open the school he dreamed about, Joker had nothing to do with Jack's debts nor Jack's deal with Boss, Joker went to prison for what he did - Jack was released etc. Jack seems to know this. He also knows Joker didn't rob him of anything except his ... hopes and dreams - and that's why he feels so strongly about Joke. So emotional, both of them; perfectly relatable. Joke lost his dreams too, it seems: he did want to prove himself - to his father/parents/family, to himself; he wanted to be a hero (broadly speaking), for which he's mocked by both his father and Jack. Maybe that why he's so bent on Jack forgiving him - that's his last chance for redemption, but also recognition. Plenty of stuff to choose as motivation for both main characters - love it. (4) Fun fact: I got on iQIYI to watch a different BL (which is crappy) and then they started airing this marvel. That's money well spent. (5) I rewatched some of War's vids on YT from his "Warcraft" series, mainly the episodes with Yin - they are a powerhouse in everything they do, including comedy. I also rewatched the EMS EarthMix Space episode with YinWar. Them four sitting at a table in a cafe somewhere in Bangkok and just talking about work - despite the jokes and banter you could feel the mutual respect. Bastards got me all teary.
