6:23 At first I didn’t know what to do with all the level-boost tickets. All my characters were level 1. I discovered the characters scored more points if they have higher levels. I decided to put all the level-boost tickets into one character. I randomly chose Tanooki Mario. I am basically stuck with him a lot in Ranked Cups because there is no point levelling up the other tier 1 drivers with him in the same ranked cup. The Tanooki Super Leaf is good at picking up coins at some distance from Mario, but not as efficient as the boomerang. You can get some good scores with him. You can also do sneak attacks from behind. He makes a dash forward with the Super Leaf. You can’t drift during a Super Leaf frenzy. That is bad.
About the daily selects and tier shop, I just focus on one or two supers and sometimes one specific high-end to max out, then focus on another super and high-end to max out, and so on. Do that instead of buying everything at once each day (like shown in the video). Many supers are in every other rank cup and maxing out a high-end can give you any ticket of anything in the daily selects. I hope this tip helps many of you as this actually worked for me.

That part about wasting your coins is so true. In the Toad vs Toadette tour, even though I had good combinations for Koopa Troopa Beach R/T and RMX Rainbow Road 1R/T in the first ranked cup, I had like nothing good for Kalamari Desert 2R/T and could not manage anywhere near enough to stop my whale opponents, and ended up finishing sixth and dropping a tier. I had good loadouts for all three tracks in the second ranked cup and was hoping it would pay off. Everything was going well until Sunday November 14th. I woke up that morning to discover I had dropped from 2nd to 4th. Unfortunately I already had perfect runs on all three tracks that I was unlikely to beat but thought maybe I could get just enough to get back up to 3rd by buying a glider level boost ticket from the Tier Shop, then using it on my Dry Bowser Umbrella on Sunset Wilds R/T. Unfortunately, I was so tired I clicked on the kart ticket by mistake. And now I have all the Super characters except Yellow Pit Crew Toad. Hopefully he'll come back soon, just like Dark Blue Yoshi did in the Halloween Tour.
Funny story. In the space 2021 tour, I made a very dumb decision to not pull for any pipes. Instead that tour, I used all my rubies I got in that tour for coin rush. Now I know to use coin rush tickets instead of rubies.
My #1 mistake is breaking combo. I always do that, and usually it's because of those ruthless bots. However, on my iPad, I can't always drift super smoothly like Carlos and Fujimoch often do, if you've heard of them, and when I try on my phone, I can't see the screen well and end up going all over the place. I only tend to get non-stop combos on T and R/T tracks, but even I break combos there a lot because of the bots, of course.
believe me, getting the gold pass instead of premium challenges is much much better. Premium challenges are overpriced, meaning, the price isn't worth it. This also goes for the packs you can buy. Those are waaaay overpriced. Get the gold pass. It's gotten so much more worth it in the last year. also, one thing you got wrong is that the tier shop isn't actually randomized. Everyone gets the same thing (except the things locked behind teirs) another thing is, now, with the token pipe, you're most likely not going to clear the token shop before the tour ends, unless you grind for 10 hours. I've only cleared it in the recent peach vs bowser tour, mainly because the bonus time gives a lot more tokens than regular bonus tokens.

I know that super leaf has a bad rep, but if you do have Toonoki Rosalina, you can still nail multiple coin frenzies with using her at a higher level. Plus, she is projected to get buffed quite a lot until she appears in pipes/packs again, she still has a solid value if you do have her and if you are willing to level her up.
I do have Tanooki Rosalina. I was just giving out a point about the Tanooki Leaf Frenzy. Edit: you might be right about her getting buffed a lot. I will give you that.
This is so true. My name in game in "RosalinaSimp", and if it's not obvious, I go out of my way to collect Rosalinas. I believe my Tanooki Rosa is at level 4, so hopefully she does get buffed lol.

I had no top shelf characters for it in the Mario vs Peach tour, and that's how I ended up finishing 11th in ranked cup that week. However, I got Fire Rosalina in the next tour, the Frost Tour, and now that I know she's top shelf on NHRT, and I have her at level 3 and locked at 800 now, when NHRT comes back I'll be able to get like 18,000 on it, unlike in the Mario vs Peach tour, when I could only manage about 11,000.

It’s practically handing out free stuff to you with the only catch is grinding out tokens with the objective. Cause opponents to crash to earn tokens? Gladly. And the infinite pipes with the only thing because an increase of 10 tokens after a use is OP. No real money, coins, or rubies needed, just grinding
About 1, there's a trick where you get your used utem ticket back 1. You use one item ticket in a race 2. close the app entirely and open the game 3. Go to a race and boom, no item ticket wasted
This was supposed to be a premier at 1 pm CT, but there was an error, so I fixed it, but had to delete the original upload in the process. So I decided to not make it a premier instead.
my mother had that happen to her, she dint upgrade the top shelf peach she had and came in 3rd place because she dint want to use 3 of her tickets to level up her level 1 peach. i always use my purple tickets on rank cups if i can and so far im on rank 52 but its getting harder.

@@natedawg19 OK, bad example. However, what I mean is this: Top shelf characters, vehicles and gliders that are level 2 or higher earn a few extra points per action. The number of bonus points earned is directly proportional to the product of the number of base points and the level of the item minus one. Therefore multiplying my Pink Gold Peach's 1190 by her level 6 minus 1 gives me 5950, whereas a maxed out Super character would give me only 975x7-1=5850. Therefore it's not really noticeable, but in the end, skill level isn't always the only factor.
There's a formula you plug in the level and base points for any DKG and it will tell you the Bonus points per action. There's a chart with these values organized floating around that makes it easy to compare and select the best loadouts
I kind of disagree with the one in Multiplayer about quitting races and it kinda falls under unfair things in MKT, but if you lose the race your grade drops and if you quit or get disconnected somehow your grade drops. As far as that it’s a lose-lose situation. It’s not rlly a mistake (and at the same time it kind of is), but more like you’re going to lose anyway.
Yeah, the token shop! I didn’t know the green coins reset to zero when a new tour starts. I thought I could save them like golden coins and rubies. I missed a lot doing this. I only found out a few weeks ago, I have been playing this game intensively for many months.
Premium challenges probably go in the same field as buying packs and Gold Passes. You don't always need them, but for those who do ACRs and competitive ranked, then it is an absolute must for P2W gacha games. Yes, this game is strictly P2W for ranked specifically.
I have used Coin Rush at the start of the game at Mii Tour 2023 by spending 25 rubies for the first time, and regretted that decision... I mean, I played for the first time... but that hurts me so bad... Now, I don't ever do that again.

I only disagree when you say that the bubble and super leaf are the worst items in Mario Kart Tour, no, the worst item is the Banana Barrel and you know why. There's another mistake that I think that everyone makes in Mario Kart tour: to use two defenses at the same time, for example: hearts and mega mushroom, because you waste your defenses.
I am planning for another part on that in the future. That is not a bad suggestion. I have done that before and the karma was keeping getting attacked by impossible bots.
I’ve been through level point boost tickets I was trying to beat a challenge to get a quick ticket by raising up another karts points but all the ones I used had maximum of 300 I finally found one up to 600 after 2 hours

@@natedawg19 yeah, that was my main complaint for sure. There were a couple others, particularly the not spending coins wrong. I like to not spend on mid and high tier items unless it's tickets, or it's advantageous to the tournament rankings. However, since I have enough coins, I always buy out all the cheaper stuff. While this may sound really dumb, since being a top player usually constitutes you having no need for them since you have a lot of other choices, I beg to differ. Once I buy out all the cheaper stuff and max it out, I'll start taking in coins from getting dupes, and not only that, but after you run out of low tier items, the shop replaces them all with tickets, meaning I have a much higher chance for point boost, level boost, and item tickets to appear.
Rubies should not be used for pipe pulls only. In the Mario vs Peach Tour, in the second ranked cup I had to spend ALL my rubies AND TICKETS on Coin Rush just so I could afford both the White Yoshi Turbo and the Planet Glider from the Tier Shop. If I hadn't, I would've had no top shelf karts or gliders for Royal Raceway R/T. My White Turbo Yoshi and Planet Glider are both level 3 and locked at 490, so I can now do almost three times as good on RRRT as I could back in the Yoshi and Trick Tours, especially if it's in the Peach Cup.
Would disagree on no. 9. I don't know but most of the premium items were already on my shelves, and I found those DKG's not that much of a use especially for Ranked Cups. Maybe on my character combinations.

I only bought premium challenges once and that was in 2 year anniversary tour and the I got was toad party time (this was my 100th driver) and he was useless
I have to agree. Toad Party Time is useless. That is why I went for Premium Challenges+ for the Rubies.

@@natedawg19 yeah, that was my main complaint for sure. There were a couple others, particularly the not spending coins wrong. I like to not spend on mid and high tier items unless it's tickets, or it's advantageous to the tournament rankings. However, since I have enough coins, I always buy out all the cheaper stuff. While this may sound really dumb, since being a top player usually constitutes you having no need for them since you have a lot of other choices, I beg to differ. Once I buy out all the cheaper stuff and max it out, I'll start taking in coins from getting dupes, and not only that, but after you run out of low tier items, the shop replaces them all with tickets, meaning I have a much higher chance for point boost, level boost, and item tickets to appear.
Rubies should not be used for pipe pulls only. In the Mario vs Peach Tour, in the second ranked cup I had to spend ALL my rubies AND TICKETS on Coin Rush just so I could afford both the White Yoshi Turbo and the Planet Glider from the Tier Shop. If I hadn't, I would've had no top shelf karts or gliders for Royal Raceway R/T. My White Turbo Yoshi and Planet Glider are both level 3 and locked at 490, so I can now do almost three times as good on RRRT as I could back in the Yoshi and Trick Tours, especially if it's in the Peach Cup.
I mean it’s your choice how you spend your rubies. I won’t stop you. I just don’t recommend using your rubies for Coin Rush

Would disagree on no. 9. I don't know but most of the premium items were already on my shelves, and I found those DKG's not that much of a use especially for Ranked Cups. Maybe on my character combinations.
