I recently rescued a 5-year old Lab/mix and she had serious reactivity issues, did not know any basic commands and also barked a lot while inside. I live in an apartment, so I was very anxious to get help with her behaviour. I had her boarded/trained for the 5-week program. I just picked her up last week and I am so relieved that she has little to no reactivity to people, dogs or noise, she rarely ever barks and she knows commands now! I can finally walk her through the park and not avoid people or other dogs! They also crate trained her for me with my own crate, so I also love how calm and quiet she is when in her crate! She doesn't make a peep when in her crate! I just did a zoom meeting this afternoon, with her in her crate and she never made a peep! She is also sleeping through the entire night now! As other clients have also mentioned, I was also stressed out with trying to manage her behaviour inside and outside, but now we can both continue our stress-free life together! I would never have been able to train her myself, so I'm so grateful for the Shield K9 professional dog trainers!!! Kisses from Bella

Good conversation tonight how can you make a dog or a child resilient when you never allow them to experience stress in order to overcome adversity. This is obvious to open minded people but PP trainers will never see this.

I'm curious how so many people are aware of your business from other countries!? It's a great compliment to your marketing and advertising I guess!?

I will thank you at the start cuz this comment its getting longer than I expected and I doubt you read it to the end hahahahahaha
    LOVE YOUR CONTENT
I've been tryng to copy your style with my 6mo mal/gsd (adopted at 2mo without really knowing about Malinois or dogs really and rushed for information in the internet, looking for trainers without looking into what looks like mild and happy trainers, found you and Robert Cabral and consume hundreds of hours of content in weeks), I bough a MCRS hard ball (the yellow one) 2 weeks ago. I use barking, obedience and misses for her to get it and I tug with her, she squishes it like nothing, its plenty of little dents, its amazing to me cuz Im 6'7 and I work with my hands so I have pretty strong hands, I can squish it with one hand but that ball its pretty hard even tho its hollow. She still a puppy wtf
Always wanted a dog, loving the experience and my wife says she is obsessed with me, went to my grandmas village last week, first time for her. I can only unleash her in those types of places cuz we live in a busy city in Spain where's there is plenty of traffic. So I had 20 feet line to her collar for safety cuz I was expecting her not to listen that much due to the novelty of freedom in the wild cuz she had it a number of times in the mountain or a river and she doesnt leave us really but she goes bananas running around and checking every plant, water, sticks...
Well, first day at the village which is directly between 2 close mountains and a river in the middle so every street its pretty inclined and then you have the mountain around she went zoomies around us running up and down but when we moved in oposite directions and I recall her she listend pretty well. Second and Third day she wasnt running really she followd us checking everything on the way but been at 10 feet max, I was really impressed ngl.
Any elder of the village haven't seen a "trained" dog and when I was training obedience with her meal in the middle of the village they were all looking with disbelief like it was magic GREAT EXPERIENCE

That’s fantastic! Sounds like you’re doing a great job, especially considering you didn’t have experience training. I hope you and your dog get better and better. Good job. 🎉

    Haz,
You're right on the hockey analogy. And yes, the "Maple Loafs" are notorious for crapping the bed. Same with the Penguins - all 5 of their Stanley Cup teams had like 2 extra layers of hunger above what the other teams brought. The 2017 championship team was barely held together with twine, but they were way hungrier and knew how to steal one victory at a time until they stole 16 victories resulting in them getting the Cup. I remember watching that cup run in disbelief. They were eminently vulnerable but able to prevent their opponents from exploiting their vulnerabilities, the sort of things that only the most seasoned of veterans can pull off. But on years when the Penguins had super mega high powered lineups like 1993 & 2014, they would get embarrassed by a team like the Islanders or the Bruins who they typically did not match up well against regardless of who was running the team or playing on the team. Tell ya what though - it gave me an appreciation for other teams when they suddenly get hungry. 95 Devils & the 96 Avalanche - those were legendary Cup runs. The 97 & 98 Red Wings teams were a machine. Hockey is still fun to watch once you get past your home team & just love seeing the hunger of the playoffs play out.
