Hi Maria. Very good advice, but I have to disagree with you about the diet advice. We need more protein as we age, not less. And meat is an important source of protein as well as iron. Being a vegetarian will deplete your bones of essential nutrients.

I am 39 years old and I started noticing big changes in my teeth and also skin. I got x-rays done at the dentist and they told me that I have significant bone loss in my jaws and facial bones. I was completely shocked. Do you know if I can recover this bone density? I've been told once it's gone, it's gone. This video is SO helpful for me. thank you so so much. I have a theory that eating hard to chew foods helps with bone density in the face (like weight lifting helps with bone density in your body.) Taking a vitamin K2 MK-7 supplement would be a very good idea. Good brands are Now, Jarrow, and Doctor's Best.
I'm your age and have the same issues with bone loss. I make Chinese bone brother with organic pastured lamb/chicken/beef bones, chinese mushrooms and herb packets, red miso soup, purple cabbage, ACV. Beef & lamb bones have Type 1 & 3 collagen peptides for bone density) whereas only chicken has Type 1 (for ligaments etc). I also do a green & a red freeze-dried powder shot with H20. Red has Maqui, Acai, Beetroot, Pomegranate, Kakadu plum, probiotic powders etc for huge hit of antioxidants. The green contains wheat grass, barley grass, spinach , kelp, etc. I also have fish patties with 7 types of oily fish. Pan-fried fermented Tempeh and pastured eggs is my substitute for bacon & eggs. K2+D3, Cod/fish oil capsules are essential too. In Chinese Medicine the Acidic body creates bone loss so avoid excessively acidic food. I.e. add 1/2 tspn baking soda to canned tomatoes to neutralise acidity and make it alkaline instead.

More you exercise facial muscles, more wrinkles you get. Thats why we get most wrinkles on areas, we use most expressions. Its naive and non scientific to suggest facial exercise is the same as body exercise.

I have not found this to be true for myself, Eva B. I have been using a facial flex exerciser for years with great success. I've also done the gentle tapping as Maria demonstrates for years as well with absolutely no increase in wrinkles. My TH-cam profile picture is current (age 60) and I have never had any ill effect from doing these things. For a scientific study of this topic I wholeheartedly recommend a book by the name of Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by Weston A. Price, DDS.

More you exercise facial muscles, more wrinkles you get. Thats why we get most wrinkles on areas, we use most expressions.
Its naive and non scientific to suggest facial exercise is the same as body exercise.
When you exercise the muscles, you actually place your hands over the skin so you cause no stress onto the elastic and collagen fibers, so these exercises must be done accurately.

I have been using a facial flex exerciser for years with great success. I've also done the gentle tapping as Maria demonstrates for years as well with absolutely no increase in wrinkles.
My TH-cam profile picture is current (age 60) and I have never had any ill effect from doing these things.
For a scientific study of this topic I wholeheartedly recommend a book by the name of Nutrition and Physical Degeneration, by Weston A. Price, DDS.

My advise was always, dont ever allow massaging the face. Body is completely different story. Muscles on the face and body benefits from nutrition and suplementing, when we getting older. Integrity ,density is greatly enhanced with different forms of lasers, Radio frequency and simmilar technology and comprehensive skin care.
Its painfull to watch massaging face, while skin is just folding on top. But great wayto get more Bottox clients for life. Your technique is questionable, and if applicable, how many regular women and men could figure it out?
