That moment between Slater and Jules is really incredible in a bunch of ways. You have the son of a football player and the son of a car mechanic, a black man and a white man, a Christian and a Jew, and they are bonded for life because they went to war with each other day after day. Good lesson for life and a really awesome moment to be captured.
football is beautiful
I love how the minute he said I am Slater just gave him a squeeze and held so tight.
@@mollybarnett7533go watch the micd up. This cuts it off. I forget exactly what slate says after, but it was such a great celebratory moment. I rewatched it that year a good hundred times
@@mollybarnett7533 genuine love
Dude popped right up from an ACL tear and hobbled off.
great player. i’ll always remember that super bowl run they made, very rarely do you lose the super bowl, then go back and win and get revenge 365 days later…
Julian Edelman was a beast WR his whole career on the Patriots
His first 4 years beg to differ lmao
@@Big_Nick31 what about the rest of the career then
@@Tyreebernard06 he said his whole career that's what he's saying dummy and honestly he never was that dude
@@Big_Nick31 He was on the bench behind Welker until 2013. Would you say the same thing about Brady not being a beast his whole career because he sat behind Bledsoe his first year?
@@tonyimperato951 He was dropping balls like crazy early in his career.
As tough as they come, you cannot get any tougher, dude is relentless! Love my Julian Edelman!
2016, 2018, and 2019 were three of his best seasons. In 2019 you saw how valuable he is as a receiver to the patriots.
He was hitting that juice hard

How do u become a jew
@@derricknelson2591 you are either born one through blood, or you convert religiously.
@@SouL1Jacker you cant be born threw blood being jewish is a religion
That brotherhood between Jules & Slater is amazing
2018-2019 Edelman definitely his best version. No real reliable WRS that season and he just completely took over in the postseason
The route running was elite
Jules was one of the top key players that attracted me to the Patriots in the first place. Love TB but Jules’s playing style just captivated my full attention. Miss seeing him play!
For real….Chris Godwin needs to see this video.
"Are you happy"
This video shows what a real receiver looks like. 💪
Edelman was a site to see, what a great player he is to watch. Great career.
Love to see professional respect.
Frank rockin a big one this whole video
His dad is such a mensch.
I had a Jewish dad just like him. Really tough on us boys in sports and everything else but what he was getting us ready for was the real world and all that goes with being part of the tribe. Jules was raised right.
Lol jews are so soft most are like females
Great call by the ref to call it a catch live. It was clear as day in slow mo replay, but live speed your brain is telling you no way
That whole sequence was epic - the D play was great, but Jules would not be denied the catch. And even the Refs and announcers added to it, great moment in the sport.
I live in ATL and grew up a falcons fan. I will never forget that devastating Super Bowl loss, but Julian Edelman is an elite competitor and I'm glad he got his recognition.
5:23 What a kind compliment from Tom Brady!
He tore his ACL and he just limps off 😮 that is mental.
Can’t help but love Jules 😂
As a steeler fan, always loved Brady, which is sacrilege. Endelman is off the F-ng charts, what a warrior.
Healing on gear probably a way better idea
Too much money in not healing ligaments
He looks like he could still play
Damn knees (at least one of them) gave out. He paid a price for the decade+ of hard cuts.
He’s a man. Love this guy.
Dude route running was elite
Lehaim Jules! Favorite player 🧡🧡🧡
Kind of fitting he was the Super Bowl MVP in the last Patriots Super Bowl
I like the 🐿
Julian in my book is a Hall of Fame player. He played at a high level every game. It’s time to judge HOF players on their performance at their position. WRvs WR, Olineman vs Olineman. And they should select a minimum of 1 person from each position category each year, QB, RB,WR, TE, OL, DL, LB, CB, DB, K, P, Special Team.
PEDs really help the come back
And Jules stayed loyal... all he ever wanted to be was a PATRIOT and nothing more. Thanks Jules. 🙏
Brady would have stayed if BB wasn't so fixated on D, and handled O assets poorly...
Jules, you were a beast mode in a small package. It's all in the mind! Please don't come back because you have nothing to prove. Enjoy your family.
when does the entire video come out?
That sb-performence was a Definition to "always open"
“Edlenut”
4:53 lmao
Is it really considered performance enhancing even when its to recover from an injury? Dont doctors prescribe steroids sometimes to help your body heal faster?
His dad is like one of those dance moms
Four games for the best year of your career hahaha. Worth it
exactly 😂
they couldnt even recognize the substance...prob a dr gave him something to help heal his knee that wasnt even banned...its crazy u can fail a test but not be able to recognize what u failed for....but 4 games is def worth it lol
The gear works 😉
Julez came long way man he built himself to be legendary dude had the “will”
Elite hard charger!!
Turf
Love this big time baller!!!
🥶Julez is my Favorite Pats Receiver til this Day Dnt Care🤫

“Red gloves over here”
Proverbs 16:13
Righteous lips are the delight of kings; and they love him that speaketh right.
translation: I took the suspension so i could keep my gains for the season
I absolutely believe that steroids should be allowed for injured players to help them recover. They aren't playing anyway, and it IS A MEDICAL TREATMENT. Document the hell out of it, get them off of it before they come back.
If I were an injured player, I would sue the league to allow it during recovery.
ya its also crazy to fail a test even thoe they cant recognize the substance that u failed for...and ur right it might of helped him heal but it didnt help him in the sb or anything
So......
From what I'm understanding is that he recovered from the acl injury thru physical therapy & steroids/performance enhancing drugs ????
Cause recovery time for an injury like that would take longer to be at 100% again.
He was out for over a year, acl takes 9 months to a year to recover from
this was for a knee after he already recovered from acl
I like how they keep referring to getting caught doing roids as overcoming adversity
I mean being suspended and the public shame is something to overcome. No one said your choices and actions can't make adversity in your life.
I still don’t see an issue with people using PED to heal and recover from significant injuries. I think it’s better for the sport for the players to be healthy. Obviously chronic steroid use is different stoey
There were many great memories but that superbowl catch against the Falcons is my favorite moment
Why does his dad talk about him like he is the Julian it's werid
Man he was not guardable
Edelnut
Edelman's dad gives me bad vibes. It's great that he pushed his son to great heights bit he seems possessive af
His dad does seem controlling. It's Julian's money and if he wants to spend it to fight the suspension, support him.
I thought that he was being a normal father until he started talking about the lawyer situation and how he should’ve been apart of it. Weird relationship.
Control freak amazing how un self aware some people are
That’s how many Jews are.
@@A19csdI was gonna’ say. We do family differently. 35 years, did my time in the army, two kids, still talk to my dad when it comes to business.
Jesus loves you-!!
Jules love you. And runs better routes!!
First
i could go all night long too if i was taking steroids
While recovering from an ACL tear? It's medical. After that? He's off it. NBD...
Dude is reaching… he ain’t a jew
With that attitude, you'll go far. Perhaps you'll make it to ditch digger, or sewer maintenance.
Thank god he took steroids in order to come back so fast! Love Edelman
he actually didnt come back any faster after waiting the 4 games suspension
Moral of the story, “steroids work” lmao
Honestly why not when they’re coming back from an injury lol. Everything in moderation
Bro was juicing
Bro worked to get back from injury. Ask a doctor, if you can afford one.
Literally a cheater
How is Aaron Rodgers coming back from an Achilles injury after just 3 months? When most players with a Achilles injury takes 8 months to a year.
@@Dennis-nm1jm the Tom Brady method; blood transfusions and stem cell therapy.
YOURE TOO OLD
Love Edelman!
Love the Jews ✡️!
Alternate title:
Player takes PEDs and wins MVP.
Correct title: They never figured out what it might be, but called it peds and gave him a suspension". Fits for the guys who don't understand basic physics either...
wait he took steroids and its okay ? its like a side note ? wtf
Doctor’s often prescribe steroids to help your body and muscles recover and stabilize from injury. I’ve had it for my shoulder before
So he was a cheater and used steroids.
Yes. They all are. Some just do better at not getting caught
Everyone is on steriods
Possibly to add his injury recovery.
Literally nobody cares.
Don't be so stupid.
Never liked him
no one asked

Yea, exactly my point‼️ Why is Edelmans DAD Talking for a Grown Man 🤦♂️ ⁉️
Sorry you hate your father. Might want to see a shrink about that.
That patriot squad had way too many cheating scandals too be considered legendary tbh
All 32 teams have had cheating scandals not just the Patriots. There are a lot of teams that have had more cheating scandals than the Patriots. What about bountygate with the New Orleans saints and Baltimore Ravens. The team with the most cheating scandals the Denver broncos. You should really learn to look up the history of the NFL before spurring garbage about just one team. September 8th 2022 DeAndre Hopkins suspended by the NFL for using peds. Since 2020 31 players have been suspended for using peds. I guess DeAndre Hopkins has a lot of company. I guess the cowboys weren't legendary either in the 1990s when they were caught cheating or the 1970s Steelers when they were caught cheating and the 1980s 49ers when they had cheating scandals. So I can do the same thing as you pick out teams that had cheating scandals.
Oh, right. Tell us about your team and how perfect they are?
