It looks great! Apache Tears is one of my favorite grief and ancestor working crystals. To me it feels like my ancestors have my back and they're there protecting me and supporting me.

Samhain Blessings, Birdie. Your altar is beautiful. Hope your ceremony to connect with ancesters works out better tonight.

You have some absolutely gorgeous pieces. Apache tears also one of my favorite stones, I have Apache on my father's side.

Your altar setup was great. My mom grew up on reservation and full blooded Cherokee so we were always performing and selling our handmade Indian crafts at powwows all the time. She has passed and I have all of her headbands she made of beadwork, our dreamcatchers and so on. So I loved the pipe you set up. Ty for sharing. I'll be sharing my video tomorrow as well. Tonight I shared a video on samhian ritual oil. Thank you so much for your channel.

Love the concept of the window! In my ancestral practice I use a small crystal skull as a conduit to both send a receive messages, it and other items and offering and the space itself is grid with drops of my blood (blood magic is part of my heritage so i mean no offence to anyone who dors not include these workings but ask for the same respect in return 🙏🏽) to call blood to blood and as a way of guarding against any other entities. With permission i would love to incorporate the window concept into my practice 🙏🏽 Am binging a few of you videos and love them!

    Nice set up!
Curious of ancestor calling as I see many pagans do this. I know my direct family accentors were christian (my brother and myself being the ones that finally saw the "real light!" :) well back at least to the mid-1800's, so I feel uncomfortable really calling on any as a I am pagan and not sure of what their reaction would be. I do simply say their names, including close friends and pets that have passed, during my Samhain ritual, but no, lets say, "conversation" beyond, hello, welcome, miss you, hope you are well where you are.
    Thoughts?

My ancestor calling is probably different from others. I do not believe in spirits, an afterlife, or Gods/Goddesses. However, I pray to and worship the mother (earth). So when I speak to my ancestors, it's merely a one sided conversation and I will visualize them and their response. Or I will pull Tarot or scry their reply. It's not an actual spirit visiting me or speaking to me.

Love the alter. The wooden owl is beautiful. I myself never practice during or around Samhain. The veil is so thin... I am not confident in what I'm speaking with or attracting, letting in. Darkness be a tricky mofo and loves to give tricks never treats. (For me anyway)
I wish you a blessed Samhain 🙌 and send some protection 🙏 to you and yours on this lovely day. Blessed Be. 🍁🍂🍁
