    I have a high pain tolerance. I’ve broken bones, stitches, car accidents, other stuff. Never phased me, and I never cried. Labor pain was literally the worst pain of my life. I thought I was going to die- AND I WAS ONLY DILATED TO A 5!! I threw up, passed out, it was agony. I cried, I wanted out of my body. The pain meds barely touch it (good thing they barely affect the baby). It was excruciating. And I repeated it 3 times, only once was it “bareable”. Women regularly die of blood loss and complications due to labor. The fact that some incels on the internet call it “exaggeration” has me here, SMH. You can’t fix stupid.

      @@pikagirl8224 To be fair, diet CAN affect period pain, in some people, some of the time: Eating lots of salt, for instance, can increase water retention, which can increase the aches and pains some people get with their periods.
      Also, swallowing the bits of your teeth you've ground off while having to listen to sanctimonious men who've NEVER HAD A FREAKIN' PERIOD IN THEIR LIFE tell you that you're not in any pain is not really recommended, as tooth enamel shards are sharp and can penetrate the wall of your esophagus or stomach.

    Prior research has suggested the reason childbirth is so much more difficult in humans compared to apes or other animals is because we evolved to walk upright, and because our babies have very large heads. As humans developed an upright gait, our pelvises changed in ways that made the birth canal narrower.

      Once she stood up & it went all over the floor like someone had tipped a bottle over.
      Nothing was wrong with her, it was just how she was biologically built.

    As a single parent, I was fortunate to have my son early in life, because I eventually became infertile. However, as a single parent, he came into many public restrooms with me. At four he asked why my urine was red, and this began his education on the female body. I got a lot of flack for being open and honest and educating him about sex and female issues at a young age. I have endometriosis, so as my health grew worse, I explained my condition. He was there for my hospital stays and surgeries. Now that he's an adult, I asked him if it was wrong or too much for him at the time. He explained, "no!" Because he was well educated, he laughed at his friends as they tried to talk about sex and periods with confidence, while getting everything wrong. I really feel that women should educate their sons about these things and their daughters, because I know a lot of women who started their periods and their mothers just threw a box of sanitary napkins at them and left them to figure it out.

A few years ago, my sister called me to say her husband wanted to go to the hospital for pain in his balls. It had been getting worse all day, and now he couldn't deal with it. I explained to her that she should rush him there, because it could be testicle torsion, which can kill men if not treated quickly. I tried soooooo hard to keep my composure. And I lasted a pretty long time, considering. Like who sits on the internet like "it only hurts when it tears" like have they never heard of contractions?! I’m ashamed by it, to the point I spray my towels in college when I’m on my period so the smell of dead meat won’t stink out the bathroom. But aye, every man I’ve spoke to about my period gets uncomfortable. Even my own dad like I asked him a few years ago to take me for some towels for his flat, he literally looked away in the isle 😂

      Fun fact: You can’t tell if a girl is a virgin. Not even a doctor can. It shouldn’t hurt or bleed the first time. Sex doesn’t make you loose. The hymen is not a barrier so the whole idea of “puncturing it is wrong. It’s naturally open and you can’t menstruate if it isnt. Some women have a birth defect that causes them to have a full hymen but it needs to be surgically altered before they hit puberty otherwise it causes medical complications since period blood can get out. Most hymens are just a ring or half moon shape. Some are strings but either way, the opening is big enough for sex, fingers, and tampons without having to damage or tear it. The hymen stretches the same as the rest of the vagina. Even if you were to damage your hymen during sex, it doesn’t hold very much blood and might not bleed at all. Bleeding is usually caused by tears of different parts of the vagina. Your labia doesn’t get bigger from being promiscuous. Neither do your breasts. Any changes to your body after sex are temporary, unless you injured yourself then, depending on severity and your age, they might scar slightly.

Also, thanks for not being annoyed by my post. 😂 I post this a lot because I think it’s really important for people to know these things, for their/their partners safety and to hopefully spread awareness to people in countries where these are bigger issues. I am a doctor and i prefer pads for this reason, you can tell if the flow is abnormal easier and you can she if you pass big clots. The rules of thumb we use in order to tell who needs to go to the hospital are based on these. Hey Charlotte, FYI, yeast infections can be contagious. Male partners can get them too... or give them. It is the ecosystem being out of balance but it's also an overgrowth of fungus which can be passed from one body part to another. In fact, when men have a yeast infection, they often don't have symptoms and thus spread it more easily to partners. Just like for women, symptomatic yeast infections for men cause redness and itching. You can also get it in your mouth (with or without body part to body part sharing) called thrush. Yeast (candida) appears naturally throughout the body, skin, mouth, genitals and gut, and an overgrowth can be caused by so many things including, flora imbalance, ph imbalance, dietary and medication changes including antibiotics, hormonal imbalance like high or low estrogen and sexual contact.

    On the pain tolerance thing: Women actually have higher pain tolerance, along with physically thinner skin, AND more sensitive nerve endings. A man has YET to be able to go through the entire pain simulation of giving birth, and the longest (last I heard) was only able to hold out for like 6 hours at a rate of 6 out of 10 on the pain scale. Secondly, women are often trained to be spies because of our higher pain tolerance because when a female spy gets captured they can withstand interrogation far better than men can. Yet, men still mistakenly think that 'i got biig musles' means they can handle pain better as if that's even related. Dude, your 6 is my 3 and my 9 is your passing out like a wuss. Die mad about it.

    Lol the vagina stretching isn’t even the most painful part of the birth? The most painful part is the contractions. Y’know, the part where your muscles contract a bunch and hurts like a bitch? In fact there’s devices that simulate contractions so if anyone ever wants to learn how much they hurt they can do so. We’ll see if it’s “lower pain tolerance”.

    • @7337blackwolf
      @7337blackwolf 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The contractions and the cervix dilating are the most painful for sure. I've had an IUD place and even just that is insanely painful because the cervix does NOT like being messed with. Large clots during your period hurt more than regular bleeding for the same reason. Some folks get bad pain during sex just from having their cervix bumped by their partner. It's kind of a design flaw in human biology lol
