Came out great...I was thinking of building my Brother and Sister a Subwoofer box for Chtistmas...I was curious if an 8 inch was sufficient...space is a concern....apparently it is.... BTW, what was that instrumental at the beginning?
Van owner wanted his old beefy 8" sub to be repurposed and the results are amazing. There are many shallow mount 10 and 12 inch subwoofers in the market that can deliver huge output for any under the seat and downfiring applications.
Just built a box for my mk 7 transit and space is super tight , used a kicker comp rt8 and it properly bangs ! 300 rms in a sealed box smack bang in the middle of their recommended sizing paired with a kicker cxa 300.1 mono 👍 ported would hav been good but the minimum size was bigger than the max size for sealed .

Space is 12 inches wide, 20 inches long and 6.5 inches deep. Can you direct me where I can get plans and cut sheets without having to spend a lot of money on a program? I have all the tools needed in my garage. Thank you in advance
Nice stuff you got there. In every build video, there is a link to the TinkerCad 3D schematics in the video description. You need to create an account and login to TinkerCad so you can start using it and seeing the dimensions. Use laptop or computer web browser to open TinkerCad. You may want to check my other videos. There is a sub box build for Toyota GL Grandia 2018 and a Commuter Van.
Pwede naman po. The box was calculated and designed to have lower resonance way under than the Fs (open air resonance) of the subwoofer speaker. So it would just work fine for your sub as well.
If replacing the head unit isn’t an option, you can add a “Line Out Converter (LOC)” to get signal for an amplifier. Check Audio Control, or Pac Audio for the better quality ones.

Yes sir L port is a bit quicker. I should have made this an L port because PVC ports are very pain in the A to execute. 😫
