Hana Ben Hana Ben yes, people under 16 aren’t allowed to receive black belts (at least where i live). however, the testing for a red-black belt is in no way equivalent to actually receiving a black belt. since is is now over 16, a red-black belt doesn’t automatically become a black belt
Jk have a black belt in taekwondo you guys should check out jungkook proving why he is called the golden maknae for 17 mins you will be surprised of how much of a talent he have
Oppa means older brother in cute way but jungkook didn't wanted to be called Oppa because he is comparatively young in age to the girls who were calling him Oppa.... In the full clip he even said that next time I'm gonna check id cards to see everyone's age before someone calls him Oppa.... Especial that time he was very young so he would have felt weird older girls calling him Oppa😅😂😂😂
Guys, it’s literally an honorific, just like how hyung and noona are honorifics. A girl says it to an older guy to show respect, though yes it’s literal translation would be “older brother” and you likely wouldn’t say it to someone you just met. Unfortunately, westerners have started sexualizing it, using it in the place of “Daddy” which is not at all how it’s supposed to be used and really cringey.
Anne Dolan yes exactly. It’s just wrong cuz literally a 5 year old girl can call someone oppa so them sexualizing the word is literally really disgusting when it’s just used as a proper term😩
younger girls call older men “oppa” which means older brother, but it is an endearing term you use for men who aren’t your actual brother. you’ll notice that kpop boy groups use the word “hyung” a lot, which means older brother as well, but only men can call someone hyung, whereas women would call them “oppa”. Younger women would call an older woman “unnie”, which means older sister, and at the same time a younger man would call an older woman “noona”. Hope that makes sense
Isn't it a more..... intimate term? because it's similar to 'dad' but can be used towards a male you are attracted to? idk... meaning something like 'honey' or 'hubby'.. .there is a similarly used word in Japanese 'anata' i think? or it's something like 'daddy' - in a non-familial usage of the term...
SnowxXxAngel it can be, but u just have to be friends to use it. It’s a little strange but they use it for boyfriends, older brothers, or just male friends that are older than u. Jungkook just doesn’t like when girls who are older than him call him oppa Bc it’s common for fans to call idols by their name plus “oppa” even tho they aren’t technically friends
@@SnowxXxAngel there are multiple reasons to call someone oppa as a female. It could be your older blood related brother, an older male you are close with, or it could be the person you are dating/want to be dating. And its very confusing to most people at what stage you start calling a friend oppa and how he knows you do or dont want to date him. It can get you in very uncomfortable situations...
Plz react to jungkook proving why he is the golden maknae for 17 mins It’s amazing how he can do so many things, you guys will be amused and surprised of how many things he is good at
Actually Jungkook was 15 when they debuted in 2013. Also 'Oppa' means older brother. It's not just used for a biological brother though. It's basically what a girl uses to address a guy that is older than her. Some girls also use it to address a guy that they like.
"Oppa" means older brother, but it's not used only with biological brother it's used from girls to call older boys whom they're close with or they call their boyfriend like that While boys use "hyung" (older brother) for their biological brother and boys that are older than them and whom they're close with Boys use "noona" (older sister) to refer to their sisters or older girls they're close with for example Waleska is Efra's noona Girls use "unni" (Older sister) to refer to their sister or older girls whom they're close with
1. oppa is just a way for a female to refer to an older male that she is close with, usually a brother, sometimes a friend, and then other times, depending on the situation, it can be an endearing term or something a girl would call her boyfriend 2. Jungkook has a black belt in Taekwondo (he's also just good at like.... everything. From things like boxing to rapping, that's why he has the nickname Golden Maknae)
2:10 The video was taken from his room which is basically his closet, where he has all the computers and audio video equipment as well as his wardrobe, while his bed is basically a loft above all of his equipment. That's why it's called Golden Closet, and his Check out 'BTS member's room' . Good reaction, Guys!
JK is saying he’s not their oppa bc he’s convinced (or he was back then in 2016) that none of their fans were younger than him (bc he debuted so young). oppa literally means older brother and is what a female calls their older brother, but it is also used casually for females to address an older guy (whether you know him as a friend, a lover, a coworker, etc). Oppa can only be used in comfortable relationships tho, bc as you know there’s certain respectful language to be used when needed. Oppa is used when you have a close relationship with someone
Oppa is the way a girl call older man (boyfriend, brother) in a cute way. And boy call older brother hyung like the way BTS call each other The reason why Jungkook felt uncomfortable when fans called him Oppa bc those fans is even older than him
4:42 It is a boys program called RUN bts, they do not attend variety shows since they have theirs that is transmitted by the vlive application that is used by all the idols of the Korean industry, also by weverse which is a platform formed by your company

It’s even funnier when you know the full story of those certain clips!’ for example the bonobonoya story, you will understand why the others were laughing their heads off!
React to some other members like Kim Taehyung being himself, Jimin sassy moments, angry old man jin Idk the exact name of the video but it's hilarious and a lot more 😊
오빠 (oppa) and 형 (hyeong) mean 'older brother', 누나 (nuna) and 언니 (eonni) mean 'older sister'. However, the meaning of these terms expands much further than just your blood related siblings also the word oppa means "an older brother", and it is mostly used when a girl refers to an older guy. In English, we call someone brother (or sister) to show that we are close friends
Oppa is the korean term for older brother used by girls for older males, it can also be used in a cute way or in another way (if you get my drift). Jungkook was telling her he wasn't her oppa because hes younger than a lot of them so then he jokingly said he was going to start checking ID's. Ohter terms to know : hyung- older brother, males to older males Noona- older sister, males to older females Unnie- older sister, females to older females dongsaeng- term for like your friends or siblings younger than you, endearing term.
'Oppa' Is for an like an 'older brother' but they aren't related to you. 'oppa' is nothing close to being a dad, 'appa' sounds close to 'oppa', 'appa' is dad. Oppa means older brother in Korean. Girls who are younger from a guy would call them oppa for respect it's also used for girls saying it in relationship in a cute way.
this is actually used between close people or family : Girls call older men "oppa" and their older women "onni" Boys call older women "noona" and older men "hyung" This system was made because actually in Korea being older is respected and it gives you an authority and all the youngests respect you 💜 I hope I actually make sense

RM-Joke Pleaseeeeeeee
Oppa means older brother in Korean. Girls who are younger from a guy would call them oppa for respect it's also used for girls saying it in relationship in a cute way.
react to serendipity full length and mv
this is actually used between close people or family :
Girls call older men "oppa" and their older women "onni"
Boys call older women "noona" and older men "hyung"
This system was made because actually in Korea being older is respected and it gives you an authority and all the youngests respect you 💜 I hope I actually make sense
6:30 En realidad se fueron por qué jungkook hizo mucho ruido al comer y la idea era hacer lo menos posible. En Corea no es mal visto sorber o hacer ruido mientras comes
