Looks like a great little scooter
if you can design it so you can push it around like a cart or a stroller for when you go into a mall or grocery shopping, that would be awesome. Make it so it can hold two grocery bags and can be seamlessly transformed into a scooter without having to put down the bags, man I'm a genius.

I think your design is excellent. I just would have 3 design suggestions. 1)make the handlebars higher. The sitting position is bent over. Having the bars higher will enable a more upright position. 2)put footrests on the front wheel. Again will help driving position. 3)add a passing to the seat. All of this would make the stigo perfect
Padding to the seat
the center of gravity is already extremely high for such a short wheel base and way back above the rear wheel. look at 1:51, and imagine the body's center of mass a few inches above the belly button.
if you took any more weight of the front wheel, and place it even higher, it would become even more prone to embarrasing involuntary wheelies and the front wheel just slipping when you make a sharp turn on wet pavement. you will already have to lean far foward quite a bit when pushing the acceleration, or the bike will just slip through between your legs.
(i tried a few electric mini bike things, and this were conciderable problems with most of therm. besides generally pretty awfuly balance. a well balanced two wheeled vehicle will ride perfectly hands free, but none of them would)
dis is like the next gen of the honda motocompo

You are asking 1,999.00 Euros for this Bike ! This equals $2,736.13 CAD ! I think this is an unreasonable price ! This product in North America should retail for about $500.00 Canadian to be competitive. Nice innovative product and I wanted one until I saw the ridiculous price ! Too bad ! It's really nice.
Mark Job We understand your concern and we are working on reducing the price every year. The startup costs of the production and custom details are high. It is cheap to produce something, if you only use parts that some Chinese manufacturer is making millions each month, but we use custom parts. This is the reason :). But thank you for the comment!
Stigo Actually, unrealistically high prices are the bane of the entire folding bike E-Scooter Movement ! On the one hand, you designers want people to embrace your products, yet these very same products do not have a street price commensurate with those goals in mind ! I am willing to beta test here on Vancouver Island your product, but I simply need a more realistic price. The people who could benefit the most from folding E-Scooters (Namely middle and low income people) cannot access your products.
Cheap Chinese hoverboards destroyed the hoverboard market, after being banned in several cities and states for catching fire and/or exploding. Quality costs... cheap costs more.

An electric bicycles in France must follow those rules
- electric engine is 250W top
- you must pedal to make the electric engine works
- top speed is 25km/h (15.53 mph)
then you don't need a driving license,, no insurance, no helmet to drive on public lane and you can use lane dedicated to bicycles.
This bike does not have any pedals, then you need license plate, driving license, insurance AND you cannot use bicyle lanes. The fact the movie takes place in Paris is a little bit weird.

+akoonjb Elevators in France are really that small. It is unbelievable.
Website says it only goes 30-40km, I assume that is mostly on flat ground? Hills nor the rider weight is not even mentioned and will surely determine one's ride distance.
No mention how long a full charge takes or if the battery pack is small & quickly replaced so extras can be switched out to further riding distance? Maybe someday this will be worth buying but the short riding time makes it a gimmick more than a daily asset imo...

You should use bigger motor with lower KV like the RV-100 motor that I use.
It will draw less Amp's and with lower Temp.
This would go get in a water-resistant bag on my boat. In fact cruisers worldwide would use this for short land runs.
$3700+frt USD is a little too much. Get the chinese to make it in mostly plastic.
3:45, he stayed in that position until the camera went off since it is obviously for the video and with his head unsupported and shoulders as well his back and neck would hurt after a minute or two.
I think its perfect for Magicians, or Jugglers, or any act thats traveling with no car! Its probably less to charge than it gas on a scooter!

Man, if you have to take a sharp corner those training wheels are going to throw you for a loop.
Hash Bongman These are not training wheels. These are wheels that are used to drag Stigo when folded. Although you are right with sharp corners, this is a problem with the prototype you see in the movie, but we have raised the height of the dragging wheels so it is almost impossible to get them to touch the ground in the driving position. Thank you for bringing that up!

All these things are great ideas but the problem is countries like the UK simply don't allow these things to be used, or more accurately anyone wishing to use it would have to register it as a motorcycle and have insurance mot after 3 years and have a number plate fitted.
Kinda defeats to object, but a nice idea.

Boogle Doogle I didn't say these things were useless In fact I said they were a nice idea which they are, going one further I used to own an electric scooter ie the zappy good fun but I discovered that as I was an adult if I used it on the road/pavements I could find myself in big trouble so you see I'm all in favour of these little machines.
The problem is that the use of them is not general across Europe some countries you can use them other countries you can't and speaking for the UK we can't legally use these unless they are registered as electric motorcycles which means insurance, MOT, and though the road tax is free you still have to have it else you get a fine.
Oh and you can't use them on cycle lanes else you could get a fine, also pavements you guessed it a fine.
So my point was not that they are useless far from it they are a great idea, it's just a shame the laws are not standard across the EU for the use of.
But I hardly think anyone would be daft enough to move country just because they want to ride an electric scooter, or similar, so my point there was to have a laugh with you about the idea of moving everyone to where you live.
You obviously didn't get it.
Anyway enjoy your scooter bike thingymajig and shed a tear for us poor Brits with a govt still refusing us the same.

How about safety ? How do you lock it up in public places i.e. bicycle parking lots ?
That's the idea - why should you lock it or leave it somewhere? It is meant to be taken with you everywhere.

if somebody is better than you at handling the vehicle going at a higher speed, it is not the reason to start criticizing him. Of course, for the advertisement, it is not a good practice, but in general, it is fine.

awkward seat position. Nice folding design, though.
Actually, the seating position is calculated and designed based on bicycle ergonomics - weight is distributed between bottom, legs and hands. The handlebar is 10cm higher than the seat and that's exactly perfect for city traveller.
