Are you in standed tuning or half step down

The actual song is 1/2 step down, but in standard, use a capo at 2nd fret, and play E F#m C#m and A
when your telling people chords go slower and show us the whole chord
Do you need to cover all the strings with your palm?
you cover most of them. make sure your palm is touching the bridge so that the strings still ring out!
