Mam i m also married to an army officer n right from our marriage after 25 days he went kashmir for 2 years . I am facing lot of issues handling situation alone coz its not possibl to even call when i want to.. Inlaws issued as well.. Recently i quit my job too for inlaws health.. N lot of issues. I m mentally depressed

As you are in the education field, I would like you to try to make some changes in the syllabus being followed by ICSE /CBSE.
Some of the text books leave much to be desired.
A lot of time is being wasted on the worthless,so called "project work"(I would say time pass work), where parents are compelled to complete some meaningless theme, as the child is already overloaded with home work and tuitions.
Competition is sometimes not healthy. And even in the best of schools across India, the quality of teaching lays emphasis on style and very little on substance.
Teachers look more like models than role models, relying mostly on guide books, and sometimes passing on muddled -up information gathered from dubious sources.
It is often glaringly obvious, that before the commencement of a class,little attention has been given by the teacher in preparing and presenting the subject matter in a cohesive , intelligible manner , but it appears more as if facts have been irresponsibly cobbled together.
As a result the children are confused , as they are not mentored properly, and are forced to accept the teachers mood swings and eccentricities, and assume that this is the benchmark, when the opposite is true!
God help the child who questions! An enquiring mind is promptly snuffed out.
Why are students increasingly dependent on tuitions for portions not covered?
The learning teaching experience has regressed on many fronts when I compare it to the diligence, dedication, sincerity of the teachers who taught me in the early fifties to mid sixties.
Of course technology has progressed exponentially, sadly deleting in the process, an appreciation for the finer things in life, beginning with sensitivity to life based on intrinsic values, a love for art ,poetry and on a human level ,being sensitive to fellow beings, by showing compassion, respect for the elders, humility, tolerance, a willingness to help people in need of it , and of course to practise basic courtesies and good manners at home and in public spaces.
More and more children resort to exhibiting crude behaviour.
Of course family intervention is equally paramount.
All these are contributory and important components for a sound education
These values are being steadily eroded.
It is not enough for a person to get a string of degrees or walk away with every conceivable trophy in sight, win every argument only to lose every friend!
Enlightenment comes from within, which means teachers ,parents, all play a decisive role in guiding their children, to be well behaved, to restrict Cell phone time mainly to reduce exposure to external sources which contain disturbing content information, which can corrupt innocent, impressionable minds.
Mrs. Agarwal, I do hope that I have not been unfair or excessive in my comments, which are based on what I generally observe around me.
