I spent about 5 years working with this type of equipment. At our facility we ran approximately 12 of those bagging machines and had automated machines to put all of the bags into the boxes. On our most productive days we put out about 1.3 million pounds of finished french fries, which filled up around 55 semi trailers.
Peeling happens inside a pressured Steaming tank to blast off peel in a flash. Nothing to see from video. Cutting process is neat but rebuilt the machine is fun

What potato plant is this? I toured Simplot in Boise, Idaho with my Son. He is one of the administrators over the plant. The tour of the steps to wash, sort, etc was quite interesting! The plant I toured(Simplot), looked very much like this..... hence the question about the name of the plant in this video! At the end of our tour, I was served a plate of fried French fries and ketchup. Delicious😊
