It’s definitely useful video, thanks for sharing, I am living in Turkey and has bought KSG 410 but unfortunately it’s very difficult to get picatinny rail kits from Kel-Tec because they don’t directly shipping and authorised dealer is not answering. I am not used to fire with a stable sights but optic, I don’t know how to aiming, when I try to aiming to a target I’m taking the target directly on but the bullet hits underneath of the target 😢 is there any tips how to aiming with stable sights? Sight is approximately 5-6 cm above the barrel 🤔
We only replaced the rail on the KSG 410; I did not fire it with the factory sight. We have seen 3D-printed inserts for the carrying handle that would allow using an optic without the Kel-Tec rail. Based on your description of shooting low, try using a center mass hold instead of the normal six o'clock hold people use with a shotgun. Since it is a fixed-sight system you will have to figure out the popper hold. The only other option if you cannot source the rail in Turkey is to find an optic mount or 3D-print your own.
You can find them on Amazon www.amazon.com/TG-TG8380B-TruBrite-Reticle-Hunting-Tactical/dp/B0053TUI5U/ref=sr_1_9?c=ts&dib=eyJ2IjoiMSJ9.HEGuze-UbElFPbkBbm39p1y2-ACZB-Gm3D-1dFJrfmsY9ywCITxBEKurkHYyVytS1UjdaaivlMHUPZADq6iCN4WVi8i1x71b5oocx5gtRdzt9BplhnWEvXfsslMGAeg9uVTqapEQTBfC9K_Eo2H4-ab5KcUSGQiMDhIGJg1yWCczSg-h45H_NTGzXf_CpG8cpmNs9G1K9gZO0rQjUe-QWKNOFWOkRPfGxNWY9pFSIYKTALhCJoGdU-MJ64sG9Cx-c4vZyq43HdcGCv53QixHpPw_PBopMA5tutRuDeBfe_Q.V_Ue7s5jae_XiUYPjmWoQpGenfJBY1aJ9kx_ubKSnYs&dib_tag=se&keywords=Gun%2BSights&qid=1720212171&refinements=p_89%3ATRUGLO&s=hunting-fishing&sr=1-9&ts_id=3226129011&th=1
Im considering buying the ksg 410. I plan on removing the carry handle and replacing it with a picatinny rail for my optic. I also want to add a laser & light combo. I would love to have it at the bottom where the forend grip is. However it doesn't look like the 410 gives me an option to do so unlike the ksg 12 gage. Do you have any suggestions on how to go about adding these accessories and what optic & laser/light combo do you suggest for this shot gun. Please and thank you. Will like and subscribe
Json lyric The KSG 12 guage has a different shaped pump handle. Depending on the clearance between the pump handle and the tube you should be able to attach a picatinny rail along the bottom of the pump grip. You might want to put a rail-cover on any of the exposed rail not covered by your accessory for hand comfort. Installing the rail would be straight forward, make sure your center line is straight, and drill the appropriate hole for the set screws. As far as optics and laser/light combos, that normally comes down to personal preference and budget. We tend to go towards the budget friendly optic from TrueGlo. It a shotgun so it doesn’t need an optic for precision accuracy. Other good options are Sig Sauer’s Romeo 5 or and Eotech 512. Both use common batteries you can source locally. For light/laser streamlight or surefire should do the trick. Hope this helps.
Sweet work. Just got my pump-rail and top rail attachments delivered about 10 seconds ago, excited to install. Thanks for the video
This is what I was looking for
