It came at almost a divine time, as a man I have known for many years has recently been arrested for horrific alleged crimes committed while under the influence of alcohol. While I hope that the allegations are false, and he walks free, it is always important to keep in mind how drugs can turn you into a totally different person. He always seemed very kind to me as well, and I actually had a high opinion of him.
This channel is genuinely one of the best on TH-cam not just for your entertainment value but your personality and message behind the videos too. That’s what keeps me coming back

Drugs really change people, even alcohol can do that shit, one of my good friends started to drink beer every evening when we usually just smoked some weed with me and another friend who always came to his crib, we usually just had a beer or two like twice a week or so. But he started to drink more and more, my other friend and i noticed that pretty quick and talked to him about it but he really did not care which bothered us a lot since we where good friends and you really should take concerns of your friends serious. It came to a point where he barely wanted to smoke weed anymore, alcohol became much more important to him which was a really bad sign and we knew that this would not end well. Again we talked to him like we did almost every day to get him to atleast not drink for a day or so but again he did not care at all, we told him a bunch of times that this would become a real problem since he was already drinking like 2 big beers (4-5% alcohol) a day, which was not that much but doing that every day can cause an addiction pretty quick and we knew that. He barely bought weed anymore and started to just smoke our stuff which is a big nono. We still tried talking to him but at that point is had gotten pretty bad, he started drinking more and more every evening, and it quickly became really bad, he used to get home from work and instantly grab a beer, and then he just got wasted untill he passed out, at that point he must have been at like 7-10 beers (big 0.5Lcans of beer with 4-5% alcohol). Then he would throw up every morning and go to work, it sucked. I just did not want to be around him anymore, the evenings where not fun anymore, he just got really drunk every time in like an hour or two and then just talked about some bullshit slurring every word and then passed out a little later, sometimes even in his chair. At that time i had enough, it was not enjoyable anymore, fun evenings of getting blazed and talking about fun stuff turned into making sure he is alright. Then i stopped going to his place and stopped contact, my other friend and i tried everything to help him and even warned him like every day that he should not drink every day because it would turn into a bad problem but he did not care which was really frustrating. Not long after i stopped having contact with him my other friend told me that he had a psychosis while he was there, it was not a really bad psychosis, he was just talking about being enlightend and some other weird religious shit (he was not religious at all), so my other friend called an ambulance and they brought him to a mental hospital, he stayed there for like a week or two, i cant really remember how long it was but he was there for help with his psychosis and the alcohol addiction he had develloped. After he got out he instantly started drinking again and stopped taking his medication he got for his psychosis, not long after that he had a second psychosis this time it was at work and he got fiered because of it, this time i did not know what psychosis he had. I had no contact with him anymore but i was still pretty angry about it since all that bullshit could have been avoided if he only had listened to us. Not too long ago my other friend told me what is going on with him, it was just a cycle of going to rehab and getting mental help to just going back to drinking when he got out again, it go to a point where he fucking ran away from the open mental hospital and was put in a closed mental hospital after that because he ran away. My other friend told me that he recently stopped drinking after getting out, but now he smoked weed again which is also really bad if you have those mental problems, i dont know how this is gonna turn out but i dont really care anymore since it got really bad like 3 years ago, it sucks loosing a good friend to alcohol and the mental problems it caused. If you notice that something is happening to a firend of yours or if you notice that he is doing too much of something talk to him/her about it, even if it is "just" drinking a bit too much or maybe every day, it can turn into a problem really really quick, and if it gets to that point where it becomes a problem it can get really bad really fas and it can even turn into some bad mental problems like it did with my friend. Always say something if you notice something that is not normal, i cant imagine the guilt i would feel if i never said anything about it and just let it happen.
