When it comes to winter protection, all plastic should be avoided because it encourages condensation due to lack of evaporation of humidity, which leads to rotting of plants! I agree on your advice on plastic. Normally we don´t use it because of risk of rot so I simply don´t know why we put it over the boxes with the bananas in, absolutely stupid! Thank you for watching :-)
