    @Marcus, I’m actually getting back to snare drumming again - after 35 years off. And I couldn’t forget this inspiring video after seeing it last year. This is one of my favorite training sequences! I’m not there yet with the 32nd notes and the diddle combos. But each day I’m seeing a little improvement. Thanks again!

      Defy Gravity it’s the same as race car drivers. They have work through the different speeds of driving and thinking at those speeds. I’ve just been through the same thing for drumming

      at the time of this video I had been playing for about 15 years. from 15-22 I practiced everyday for about 5-7 hours (not all on snare drum). hope this helps. Happy drumming!

      marcus hawkins nice I got a drum set spot at Audio Theater in 2019 but I couldn’t do it because I didn’t have money. I’ve met Shane and the rest of the staff at Mystique they’re awesome, I’ve got a lot of friends that march mystique every season.

    You should use match grip rather than traditional grip, because traditional grip can hurt your fingers if you put too much pressure on certain part of them.
