This is a lot more elaborate than I was looking for. Would love to see the finished product first and then all your efforts would make more sense to me. But then, I'm just a grandma looking for ideas for a 3rd grader. 😅
@Gabrielishere he sprayed a very small amount into a bucket. Wd 40 dries and stays stuck to the bucket. You guys act like he is out there spraying it on the beach. I happen to be on the beach in destin florida right now. Do your research genius wd 40 is not toxic in any way shape or form unless it's physically sprayed into your lungs or eyes. Key word SPRAYED
What parts of this are fish based? “According to the US Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS), the main ingredients in WD-40 aerosol cans are: 45-50% low vapor pressure aliphatic hydrocarbon (isoparaffin),
Garbage? I'm a HUGE beach cleanup advocate!!!! I always pick up trash on the beach! Anything "thrown" back is a natural element!! A stick for example haha!! Also, I use a very small amount of WD-40. The amount of sunscreen one person applies is 10x the amount of wd-40 I use in a week!! Tiny spray, a little bit goes a long way!!
Thanks for your reply, I am relieved to know that my assessment was not correct. It was the way you said “Any garbage grab it and throw it out”, then tossing something off to the side.. I know it should be common sense that we don’t toss garbage on the beach but as you must well know there are terrible examples all around. And yes the wd40 is alarming to me though I definitely understand that there are far worse things happening to the beach environments then a little wd40. Thanks for taking the time to respond and for being a clean beach advocate, I will enjoy trying this technique🙂
