Thank you! The drone is a marvellous addition to have. Straight away you have a different perspective on the town( or anywhere else) & you can ‘see’ where all the major landmarks are in relation to one another! I hope new regulations don’t stop you utilising your drone.
You are correct, it helps to paint the 'big picture'. We are hopeful, that because most of our videos are in the countryside away from people, changes to the drone laws will have little impact on us. Though videos of this nature in Arundel may not be permitted - we will have to see what the powers-that-be come up with!
That was a lovely compilation -- thank you! It's amazing how, in just a few years, the drone has changed the way we see the world. Any channel such as yours is not really complete these days without the aid of drone footage, which in your case is expertly done and adds a lot to the enjoyment of your videos.
Thank you, Jim, for your kind comments. Yes, you are correct, a video of the type we make without drone footage does seem rather lacking. We hope our flying technique has improved over the past year! Sadly, there are moves afoot to make the rules for flying more stringent. It seems that the acts of a small minority are forcing the authorities to take action that will impact all UAVs. Sadly, those same authorities do not seem to have a good grasp of the technology available and built in to many drones, meaning the aircraft pose very little risk to safety and security. Any laws introduced, as in any walk of life, will be broken by those of a criminal nature or feel that the law does not apply to them. On a more positive note, we are being threatened with some dry, sunny weather in a week or so, so we should be able to get out for another filming walk.

I agree with your thoughts about rule changes -- the authorities always seem to punish everyone for the sins of the few, instead of clamping down on the offenders, who will continue with their bad behaviour anyway. We have that here with speed limits currently, with ridiculous rules being applied which will of course be flouted by the ones they are supposed to deal with.
