      What made you not have it for more years?
      Was the guitar bad? Or did you find an even higher quality 7 string guitar? (This one is only 5 hundred pounds after all)

      @@burned357waffles How good is the distorted tone? Is it crunchy, sharp or deep?
      Ideally I'm looking for a fairly deep but also clear distorted sound (not too crunchy or fuzzy)
      Im also the "babies first 7 string" demographic as well haha

    Just got my demon 7 in satin black and apparently I ordered the last one so if anyone's wondering why you can't get one right now, your welcome. Kickass guitar and my favorite feature is those grey pearloid Gothic cross inlays and they have a little blue in them in the light. Fucking awesome sounding guitar and feels great.

    Ive played six string in metal bands my whole life. Now i want to play 7 string for that brutal metal core riffage and breakdowns. Im gravitated towards this. Def looking to spend under 400 for my first 7. Is this legit?

    • @Wimya
      @Wimya  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I was in the exact same boat as you. This guitar ticked all the boxes I was looking for in a 7 string. Playing guitar most of my life (mainly metal) with some badass 6 strings, this guitar keeps up with them build wise & tone wise. Doesn’t feel cheap at all to play and has held up great.

    • @Wimya
      @Wimya  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@mercilessforever the stock pick ups are active so they are definitely hot and have that classic hot / active tone. I’m a huge emg fan & always end up switching my stock pick ups for them but I’ve left the stock pick ups in this guitar for now.

    I bought this guitar a few years back! But now when it's time to change the strings I'm a little confused. It's a baritone neck, which means the string guage should go down. But I play in drop G (7 string) so then the string guage should go up. Do you have any idea what strings it comes with? I'm thinking about getting the Ernie Ball cobalt set (the purple one) since it has 11s. But the internet seems to recommend the dunlop 10s 7 string metal core strings. Any help?

    How is is vs the Hellraiser

    • @Wimya
      @Wimya  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      No idea. I have never played a hellraiser but being as it’s a neck through vs a bolt on neck you’ll probably get more sustain & you’ll have emg vs the schecter brand pick ups on the hellraiser. Basically a “better” spec and the price reflects that.

  • @hervengeanceofficial

    ive had mine for a little over a year. It works great! The three way pick up doesn't work well however. If i flip it all the way up it goes silent unfortunately. I have the same one as you though and its my go to guitar. I use it for everything on my channel!

    Hey I appreciate the video, I been playing thus guitar for a couple years now with over 70 guitar play-through videos...but I have to debate one thing you said... I too have an Ibanez RG series, and I can definitely say that the Ibanez is nearly twice as heavy as the Schecter. That was the first thing I noticed and was relieved it was lighter. The Schecter is headstock heavier than the Ibanez, but the body, no way. Anyhow, back to watching your vid..

    • @Wimya
      @Wimya  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Wow my RG is no where near as heavy as you are claiming yours is. Mine is a 2001 RG220 and I would say the body of the guitar is on the lighter end. Maybe mine is just lighter by chance. I haven’t disassembled the schecter and held it without the neck so I can’t really comment on just body weight.

    • @NightfallFX
      @NightfallFX 2 ปีที่แล้ว
