Here is another run with my police package Impala. New plugs and coils, and new tires (that actually have traction!). 89 octane gasoline. Love this car!!!
Top speed governor removed, WOT shift points raised 6800 rpm vs 6500. Less aggressive traction and stability control. Actual horsepower rated 305@6800 vs 302@6500. Not a lot of difference, but definitely noticeable.
@@bpearr8266 this information was in the owner’s manual and factory brochure that the car came with. It was a great car and one of the few I regret selling.
@@aaronplatt8714 That and I heard the police Impalas have a heavier duty transmission and are geared a little differently. They do accelerate a little quicker than the LTZ Impalas.

What’s different between a normal 3.6 impala and the police imapla? Is it just the governor?

How do you bring up the digital speedometer I just got a 2016 impala police
Mine was just part of the driver information center. Same buttons as the gas mileage, tire pressure, etc
Could’ve probably could’ve hit 100 in that same time frame if not for that slip at launch
