i would love to see general doing tank layla now+ i think tank layla for that game is extremely smarty due to their lineup aswell with blade armor countering melissa from the early and antique armor reducing chance of fanny bursting layla and only switching to damage when ahead/comfortable position.

General can you play Melissa with Diggie support?, Diggie is by far the best support for Melissa and generally a really good support, both their kits really synergize well together
I did almost the same thing but mid Layla. Start with Fury Hammer (don’t upgrade it, just fury hammer) you can harass the shit out of your opponent. Then buy Endless battle (optional blade of despair) Go all in with tank items Sell the fury hammer and buy Malefic Roar as your last item Enjoy.
Layla tank was popularized by a Filipino Streamer Choox TV, a year or 2 yrs ago... its pretty badass, specially at late game. it will be too OP when the buffed/revamp layla comes.
when i pick lylia i built her tank wt cd, eazily release all her bomb +ult total about 13 to 14 bombs to enemy and still can fled away 😂 overall damage sometimes reach thirty over percent 😂
Tank Layla is quite common in Asian servers, it's not even that big of a deal now. If you know Choox, he has done that many times already, pure tank, not even a hybrid like what your teammate did.
